  • In a saucepan, butter and olive oil are mixed, green onions, dill and garlic are added to them. The whole composition needs to be slightly heated.

  • After the specified time has elapsed, the pan must be removed from the oven. It is better to let the halibut in foil infuse for about 10 minutes, and then serve it on the table. It is better to serve a dish wrapped in foil with stewed vegetables, or take it out and sprinkle generously with herbs.

  • the form with all the ingredients is sent to the oven for a quarter of an hour;
  • it is recommended to decorate the finished dish with herbs, lemon and serve on portioned plates.



Potatoes are an almost constant ingredient in the preparation of various dishes. With its help, a very satisfying and tasty dish is obtained. The presence of cheese allows you to give any product a tenderness and creamy taste.

Halibut with potatoes and cheese

  • Potatoes must be washed and cut into almost translucent slices.
  • Prepared fillet should be cut into portions.
  • Onions and tomatoes are cut as finely as possible, and the cheese is rubbed on a coarse grater.
  • A layer of foil is lined on a baking sheet and greased with vegetable oil.

You will need:

600–800 g halibut fillet with skin; - 2 cloves of garlic; - 1 tbsp. lemon juice; - olive oil; - salt, pepper, basil, parsley - to taste.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Rinse the fish fillets and pat dry with paper towels. Cut it into portions, salt, pepper, moisten with lemon juice and olive oil. Leave the fish in this marinade for half an hour.

Peel the garlic and crush with the flat side of a knife. Rinse the herbs and pat dry. In the pan in which you will bake the fish, heat the oil, fry the garlic a little on it, turn off the heat and put the greens in the pan.

For such a light dish, it is better to serve vegetables as a side dish - broccoli, green beans or fresh vegetable salad

Put the fish in the pan and immediately send it to the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. To check the doneness of the fillet, pierce the piece with a fork in the thickest part and turn it slightly. If the flesh inside has become dull, then the fish is ready.

Halibut with mushrooms and tomatoes

You will need:

1 kg of halibut; - 350–400 g of fresh champignons; - 400 g of fresh tomatoes; - 100 g of mayonnaise; - 30 g of vegetable oil; - 1 lemon; - ready seasoning for fish; - salt, pepper to taste.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Rinse and clean the fish, cut into portions. Put it on a baking sheet, pour over with vegetable oil, sprinkle with seasoning for fish, sprinkle each piece generously with lemon juice.

Cut the champignons into thin slices and put on top of the fish in an even layer so that its entire surface is covered. Lubricate the mushrooms with a thin layer of mayonnaise. Cut the tomatoes in half and place on top of the mushrooms. Place the tray in the oven and cook for 20 minutes.

As a side dish, you can bake potatoes with curry seasoning - 10 minutes after the start of baking the fish, put another baking sheet with chopped potatoes sprinkled with curry into the oven. Get it with the fish

An easy way to cook delicious halibut in foil with your favorite spices. Halibut in foil is very juicy and just melts in your mouth. Fish prepared according to this recipe will be an excellent decoration for the festive table.

Compound:

  • Halibut (fillet) - 1 pc. (one fillet per serving)
  • Lemon - ¾ pcs.
  • Mayonnaise or butter - 1 teaspoon / 20 g
  • Spices - to taste (I used barbecue seasoning)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Cooking:

Wash the halibut fillet, dry it a little and sprinkle with lemon juice on both sides.

Rub the fish with salt, pepper and spices on both sides. I still had a seasoning for barbecue, I used it, but any spices are suitable for baking, for example, you can bake halibut with dried herbs, and grease the fillet with paprika for color, it will also be amazingly tasty.

Fold the foil in two layers so that it does not tear during baking. If the foil breaks, then all the juice will flow out and the fish will be dry. Lubricate the foil with butter or mayonnaise and place the halibut fillets.

Wrap the foil so that there are no gaps left and send the fish to the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes.

Halibut in foil is ready, serve it hot either with a side dish or as an independent dish. An excellent side dish for such a fish would be steamed or grilled vegetables.

Halibut in the oven with potatoes
To prepare this amazing dish, you will need the following products:
- 550 g fresh halibut fillet;
- 2 onions;
- 130 g of hard cheese;
- 850 g of potatoes;
- 3 tomatoes;
- a little vegetable oil;
- salt, pepper to your taste.

Rinse the fillet thoroughly, dry a little on a paper towel. Cut into medium pieces and put on a plate, season with pepper, add salt.

Rinse the potatoes and tomatoes, peel the potatoes and cut into bars, and the tomatoes into small circles. Peel the onion, chop finely. Gently grate the cheese on a medium grater.

Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. First lay out half a serving of potatoes, add salt. Then sprinkle with onions, and put pieces of fish on top. Arrange chopped tomatoes on the halibut, cover with a second portion of potatoes, brush with mayonnaise and sprinkle with cheese.

Halibut baked in the oven in a delicate sour cream sauce
For cooking you will need products:
- 1 kg of fresh halibut fillet;
- 3 onions;
- 6 tablespoons low-fat sour cream;
- 120 g of hard cheese;
- 80 g of butter;
- 6 tablespoons vegetable oil;
- a bunch of any greens;
- a little flour;
- pepper, salt to your taste.

Rinse the fillets thoroughly, cut into small pieces and gently roll them in flour. Then put in a pan and fry in vegetable oil. Peel the onion, cut into half rings. Lubricate the baking dish with oil, put onions and fried fish on top.

Prepare the sauce. Toast some flour in a dry frying pan. Then pour in the sour cream, mix thoroughly and wait until the mixture boils. Season everything with pepper, salt to your taste, stir.

Divide the resulting sour cream sauce into two parts. Pour over the fish first. Grate the cheese on a medium grater, sprinkle it on top of the dish. Then send the form to the preheated oven to 180°C. Cooking time 25 minutes.

Serve the dish hot, pour over it with the second part of the delicate sour cream sauce, sprinkle with chopped aromatic herbs on top.

Appetizing halibut with mushrooms
To prepare the dish you will need products:
- 1 kg of tender halibut fillet;
- 170 g of hard cheese;
- 700 g of frozen porcini mushrooms;
- 1 red sweet pepper;
- 2 onions;
- 1 fragrant lemon;
- 220 g of light mayonnaise;
- a little of any fragrant greens;
- spices for fish, salt to your taste.

Wash the fillet, cut into medium pieces. Prepare the sauce. Pour mayonnaise into a separate plate, add spices for fish, mix everything thoroughly. Gently dip the pieces in the resulting sauce and arrange in portions on the foil.

Prepare vegetables. Rinse the pepper, cut it into small slices. Defrost mushrooms, rinse and cut into plates. Peel the onion, cut into rings. Spread the resulting components on the fish.

Carefully wrap each portion of fish in foil, send to a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the halibut for 35 minutes.
