With a blender of sufficient power, some peanuts and 15-20 minutes of time, you can easily prepare delicious peanut butter at home according to your preferences. Why is this better than just buying it at the store? Firstly, it is not sold in every store, and secondly, you yourself will choose the additives and “intensity”, that is, the flavor concentration of the paste. Options - from a very delicate taste to a “strong” one, bright due to well-toasted nuts, from a rather thin paste consistency to a very thick one.

When it comes to how to use peanut butter other than on sandwiches, the possibilities are wide. Considering that peanut butter is a lean product, it is used to replace butter. For example, they bake peanut cookies or cupcakes, prepare pasta cream, make ice cream and even a delicious peanut drink. You can also add peanut butter to all kinds of sauces, marinades, gravies, and salads.

The classic peanut butter recipe includes honey. I will not deviate from tradition and will prepare just such pasta.

Ingredients

To make Peanut Butter with Honey you will need:

  • 300 grams of raw peanuts (shelled or in husks - it makes no difference)
  • 40-50 ml odorless vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (preferably sea salt)

My family loves to have sweet peanut butter sandwiches for breakfast. This is a great boost of vivacity and energy for the whole day. The paste contains peanuts, honey and a little vegetable oil. Peanut butter at home turns out incredibly tasty and aromatic. I am sharing my favorite recipe with step-by-step photos taken for visual illustration.

So, we need:

— peanuts (roasted) — 100 grams;
- honey - 2 teaspoons;
- vegetable oil (odorless) - 1 teaspoon.

How to make peanut butter with honey at home

We start preparing the delicacy by peeling the roasted peanuts. The main thing is to do this with dry hands so that the skin does not stick to your hands.

Pour the peeled peanuts into the blender bowl. Grind the nuts at maximum power. If desired, you can grind it either into flour or into small pieces. I prefer the second option, with fine grain.

Add liquid honey. If the honey is candied, then put it in the microwave before adding it. Pour liquid honey into the ground peanuts. You will immediately get an incredibly appetizing aroma, a combination of peanuts and honey.

Choose sunflower or olive oil, the main thing is that they are odorless. Pour oil into remaining ingredients.

Beat the paste with a blender for about one more minute. Transfer the resulting mass into a small container.

This amount of ingredients doesn't make much peanut butter, but it's enough to make about six small sandwiches for two people. If you need a large amount of paste, then the amount of ingredients should be doubled or tripled. 🙂

Fragrant, healthy and very, very tasty peanut butter with honey will be an excellent dessert. I serve it by spreading it on pieces of loaf.

Ingredients:

  • Peanuts (I have unshelled, unroasted) - 300 gr.
  • Honey - 1 heaped tablespoon
  • Salt - 0.5 teaspoon

How to make peanut butter at home:

You can buy nuts for the paste already shelled, but I had the most common ones on hand, so I used them.

First you need to roast the nuts. Pour into a frying pan with a wide bottom (so that the nuts are poured in one layer), put on low heat and fry until golden brown.

There is no need to grease the pan! You can also roast nuts in the oven: spread them in an even layer on a baking sheet and dry them at 180 C for 10-15 minutes.

Then pour the nuts into a bowl and cool slightly.

It is very easy to remove the skin from fried fruits using regular peeling. You can rub the peanuts between your palms or take 3+4 nuts in your hands and grind them with your hands. It is more convenient to do this on a flat plate of large diameter. Feel free to involve children in this process - they will really enjoy shelling peanuts and participating in the process.

The shelled peanuts need to be reheated in the pan before being put into the blender. The heated fruits will form a paste much faster, thereby making the blender's work easier and reducing the cooking time significantly.

Place the heated nuts in a blender. Now the fun begins - the transformation of tanned handsome men into a homogeneous mixture.

By the way, you don’t have to remove the peels from the nuts - in this case the paste will have a rich chocolate color.

We set the highest speed (in my blender this is the “Turbo” mode) and start buzzing. First you will see dust that looks like coconut flakes. At such a moment, I can’t even believe that the paste can be spread on bread. In fact, you are only at the beginning of the journey. Add 05 teaspoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of your favorite honey and continue the process.

After 10 minutes of beating, you need to look into the blender bowl again: the paste will begin to turn into a creamy consistency. Oil will begin to separate. At first it will look like plasticine or modeling mass. Keep whisking and soon the mixture will become more homogeneous. If your paste is too thick, you can add vegetable oil (many recipes call for this). You will need 2-3 tbsp of oil. spoons.

I prepared nut butter at home in 15 minutes. Cooking time depends on the power of your blender and whether the peanuts are heated or not.

How to make peanut butter at home - recipe

Ingredients:

  • raw peanuts – 380 g;
  • flower honey or powdered sugar - to taste;
  • refined vegetable oil – 45 ml;
  • salt – 1 pinch.

Preparation

The technological process for making peanut butter is simple and does not require any special skills or knowledge. The only condition for its successful implementation is the presence in the kitchen arsenal of a powerful blender with a stationary bowl. If you have one, then the result will undoubtedly be positive.

You can, of course, take already roasted and peeled peanuts for paste, but it is better to prepare them yourself from raw materials. Spread it on a baking sheet in a small layer and send it for ten to fifteen minutes to dry and fry in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Be sure to stir the nuts every five minutes to ensure an even blush.

Now we free the peanut kernels from the husks. This is easy to do by simply rubbing them between two palms. Place the peeled nuts in a blender container and grind until very fine crumbs are obtained. At this stage, add honey or powdered sugar, throw in a pinch of salt, pour in flavorless vegetable oil and beat the contents of the device’s container to a creamy texture.

Transfer the resulting peanut butter into a jar and put it in the refrigerator for storage.

Homemade peanut butter without sugar and oil

Ingredients:

  • raw peanuts – 380 g.

Preparation

The authentic taste of peanut butter does not contain any additives. Its homogeneous texture is achieved not by adding honey, sugar or butter, but by prolonged processing in a blender until the peanut butter begins to separate, which will subsequently turn the nut crumbs into a paste.

To prepare the original paste without additives, peanuts, as in the previous case, are dried and fried in the oven at 180 degrees for ten to fifteen minutes. The duration of the heat treatment will directly determine the final color and, accordingly, the taste of the peanut butter.

We remove the roasted nuts from the husks and place them in a blender vessel. We punch the mass in the device until the product has a creamy consistency. The pure taste of the paste can be supplemented with chocolate if desired, made it salty or sweet, respectively, by adding pieces of chocolate, salt or honey to the bowl of the device with the finished paste and punching the contents until smooth.

Homemade Peanut Butter with Peanut Butter

Ingredients:

  • raw peanuts – 220 g;

Depending on the capabilities of the device, this may take from five to fifteen minutes.
