Individual sacred mandala evokes in a person the strongest impulse of special energies, gives the rhythm that allows him to catch, perceive various cosmic energies, including the subtle world. The greatest energetic force is possessed only by the mandala, built on the basis of the date, first and last name of a person.

1. Calculation of the entity number. 06.05.1987 = 9 .The number of an entity, consisting of the sum of numbers (6, 5, 7 = 6 + 5 + 7 = 18 = 9):

 • 6 Physical body, birthday number - our health (06 = 0 + 6 = 6)
 • 5 of the Astral body, the day of the month of birth - our emotions (05 = 0 + 5 = 5)
 • 7 of the Mental body, the number of the year of birth - our thoughts (1987 = 1 + 9 + 8 + 7 = 25 = 7)

2. Calculation of personality numbers. Arina Dobrikova = 9, 1.Numbers of personality, consisting of numbers (9 and 1)

 • 9 Targets (name) = (Arina) 1 + 9 + 1 + 6 + 1 = 18 = 9
 • 1 Help of ancestors (family egregor) = (Dobrikov) 5 + 7 + 2 + 8 + 1 + 3 + 7 + 3 + 1 = 37 = 10 = 1

3. Calculation of the golden (alchemical) number. 05/06/1987 Arina Dobrikova = 1... A golden (alchemical) number consisting of the sum (9, 9, 1 = 9 + 9 + 1 = 19 = 10 = 1):

 • 9 Essence numbers
 • 9, 1 Numbers of personality (goals and egregor)

With the help of the vibrations of this number, a person can correct his destiny and influence the world around him.

4. Key line.

 • Key 1 = 9 - 1 (entity number = 9, last name number = 1)
 • Key 2 = 9-9 (entity number = 9, name number = 9)
 • Key 3 = 9-9 (number of first name = 9, number of last name = 9)

Shows the capabilities of a person that can be realized only by combining the programs of the entity (date of birth) and personality (number of first name and number of surname).

5. Personality lock line.

 • Castle 1 = 1-9 (golden (alchemical) number = 1, essence number = 9)
 • Castle 2 = 1-9 (golden (alchemical) number = 1, name number = 9)
 • Castle 3 = 1-1 (golden (alchemical) number = 1, last name number = 1)

The personality lock represents an energetic connection from the golden (alchemical) number to the numbers of the programs of the entity (date of birth) and personality (number of surname, first name) and determines the highest goal for which a person came to this world.

6. Graphic construction of a number mandala.

Graphic construction of a number mandala is made in a working square, with numbers from 1 to 9.

We connect the Numbers of the recorded number series (date of birth + name + surname) with lines and complete the graphic construction with the lines of the "key" and "lock" and put everything in a square and it will look like this:

6+5 +1 + 9 + 8 + 7 + 1 + 9 + 1 + 6 + 1 + 5 + 7 + 2 + 8 + 1 + 3 + 7 + 3 + 1

Add keys and locks.

 • Key 1 = 9-1 Key 2 = 9-9 Key 3 = 9-9
 • Lock 1 = 1-9 Lock 2 = 1-9 Lock 3 = 1-1

Remove all the "unnecessary" and the numerical Mandala will look like this.

Sacred mandala.

Around the number mandala we describe a regular octagon, around the latter - a protective square, and, finally, around the square - a circle (the symbol of the Universe). Four emitting antennas (antennas for communication with the Cosmos) emerge from the four vertices of the octagon. The color scale symbolizes the elements: yellow - earth, red - fire, green - wood, white - metal and blue - water.

The sacral mandala must be included in the color energy flows, while the degree (of a person's aura) must be taken into account.

The graph shows that due to the appropriate color scale it is necessary to strengthen the energy of the second, third, fifth chakras (auras), and for this we use the dominance of orange, yellow and blue colors.

We combine both mandalas and get an individual sacral mandala.

We force the mandala (goals, luck, health, etc.) and get its final version. This is how the individual sacred mandala of a person is created.

Practice healing the body with a mandala.

Find a comfortable place. Place the image on your lap or place it in front of you ..
Relax as much as possible, take any position that is comfortable for you and look at the mandala. Plunging into its outlines, scale, connect with it a color channel of health. In this example, it is pink. Talk to the mandala verbally or mentally. Imagine that SHE is alive - the point of the part of the universe that listens to you and understands everything. Nice music will only strengthen your connection.

Formulate your desire-intention, for example: “Let my diseases disappear, list them, and my biofield will become dense, powerful and reliable”. Imagine that through the channel of health a mandala, like a pump, draws out your diseases, transforms, cleans and dumps into the endless space of space. After that, mentally return to that period of life when you were healthy and happy.

In this state, you can be as long as you want from 5 minutes to infinity. If you fall asleep, it's for the best - during sleep, recovery is much more effective.

Protect, protect with a mandala.

It is enough just to use the mandala as a protection, place it in the room where you are. To enhance the effect, set the code of your protection to the mandala, for example: Using the energies of your hands and mentally form around it an information-energy colored (according to the golden alchemical number) contour-shield against the influence of harmful energies of the environment, evil thoughts and ill intentions of people, as well as the actions of various beings ". Such a talisman can be carried with you, as well as can be placed in the car interior, on the front door, windows, wallet, any things that are with you most of the time.

Activate the mandala with the words: "I put up protection from the effects of the harmful energies of the world around me." "Not a single evil entity will penetrate through you (the mandala)."

Creation.

It is enough to place the mandala in the room where your creative "workshop" is located. Mentally surround her with a colored halo for good luck (according to the number of your year of birth).

Water charging.

Water is a living substance, scientists of the world have proven that it reacts to various external vibrations through changes in its structure. Water is the only substance on the planet that is stored in both liquid, solid (ice) and gaseous (vapor) forms. Mandala can positively influence water by structuring it in a special way, making it a positive environment for our health.

Pour raw water into a glass vessel, cover it with a mandala image (the image can be attached to the bottom or side of a container with water) and mentally or aloud formulate your desire-intention, which may be: “Let this container of water be charged with energy that will purify water from all harmful impurities and water will remove toxins from my body, help to get rid of ... (list your diseases), soothe the nervous system ... ".

It should be noted. that all your wishes and intentions were extremely sincere, simple and uttered with faith in success. Usually this water is ready for use within a few hours. To enhance the charging effect, you can also use several images, at once, for example, put one under the bottom of the container, and cover it with the other on top.

Water charged in this way is suitable for cooking, watering flowers, holding, etc. It can be used as a "concentrate", adding in small portions to ordinary water, thus, all the water after a while will absorb the charged energy and become structured.

Mandala helps to accelerate your spiritual development. It should be used to control your life energy - Qi, for release from stress, depression, worries (the finitude of being, loneliness, guilt, etc.), chronic fatigue, age crises.

Mandala is a living Being and after working with it, do not forget to thank it!

It must be remembered that if you start constantly working with the mandala, then it will become for you an effective tool for using your internal energy, the "key" to your hidden resources.

An example from my practice of creating a family amulet.

 • Karina: Vladimir, please make a calculation of the family protective mandala? You have the data of my family members. And what will a family protective amulet look like?

Your family meditation protective mandala looks like this.

It is based on your family-wide number mandala.

In which the mandala is laid on you (Karina) and your mother (Elena).

In Buddhism and Hinduism, there are symbols that personify the universe - mandalas, the meaning of images in these complex are many-sided and mysterious. Mandala drawing is always symmetrical. It is a circle in which the center is expressed. Its most common shape is the main circle in which a square is inscribed. Inside the square is another circle, divided into segments (often in the form of a lotus flower). The mandala is decorated with various symmetrically arranged ornaments.

What are mandalas: the meaning of images

In translation from Sanskrit the word mandala translates as "circle". Hindus and Buddhists paint it accompanied by certain sacred rituals. The walls of many eastern temples are covered with similar designs and are objects of worship. It is believed that sacred symbols contain positive energy, help to reveal the subconscious and inner "I". therefore mandala in the east - this is a kind of frozen prayer.

The person who draws mandalas depicts the essence of his soul at the moment:

 • the center of the mandala is the eye or pupil;
 • inner circle - enlightenment, nirvana;
 • outer circle - protection;
 • lotus is the flower of the mind.

Mandala images are used for meditation ... Concentration on the ornaments of the drawing contributes to the restructuring of consciousness, as a result of which certain abilities open up in a person. Mandala is, first of all, a holistic model of life, reminiscent of the connection between man and space. Sacred drawings help to look at yourself from the outside, to accept and resolve the protracted internal conflict.

Mandala: the meaning of symbols

In addition to the image of a lotus, a circle and a square, there are other symbols:

 • Triangle upside down - determination, strength; down - indecision, weakness.
 • A spiral rotating clockwise is the beginning; against - devastation, waste of energy.
 • Winding lines are experiences.
 • Cross - indecision, cross state.
 • The five-pointed star is freedom and self-confidence, protection of oneself.
 • Eye, pupil - be aware of important events.
 • Heart - love, sensuality.
 • Lightning is the divine power that healed the soul.
 • The tree is the basis of the universe.
 • Animals are a sign of human behavior in the present period of life.
 • Birds - awareness of their soul, lightness.

A mandala drawn in a state of meditation will help to analyze the state of your inner I, to concentrate your mind, to realize the freedom of being, the meaning of the symbols that fill the picture will help to analyze the sacred meaning of a person's inner forces.

The meaning of colors in the mandala

One and the same color in a sacred drawing has many meanings, and in combination with other colors, the meaning can change.

Red - a sign of energy, passion, life potential. A person who draws a mandala in red has goals and aspirations. Lack of red means anxiety, depression, loss of interest in life.

Yellow - creativity, optimism. Yellow adorns the drawings of people of art.

Blue - the color of serious personalities, calm and reasonable people. Hardy and strong-minded people are fond of blue.

Green - updating not only yourself, but others as well. Green predominates in the mandalas of people whose profession is associated with helping and healing people.

White - cleanliness, protection,; a color that protects from negativity, helps thoughts remain bright.

Brown - practicality and sustainability, striving for constancy and safety.

The black - darkness, mystery, death. The presence of black indicates emptiness and selflessness.

The meaning of flowers in the mandala is deeply symbolic. Experienced psychologists have long used sacred drawings in their practice, helping to accurately determine the patient's internal state. People with mental disorders are invited to choose a mandala from several suggested ones or draw on their own.

The center of the drawing, the most important place of the mandala, the meaning of the images in the central part make up 90% of the meaning of the entire ornament. It is in the middle of the picture that the strongest gravitational movement is, the path to which is slow and difficult.

For thousands of years, what people have not come up with in order to strengthen their health, heal their soul and body. Recently, art therapy has become more and more popular - a simple and effective way of healing. One of these most effective and powerful forms is mandalotherapy.

What could be better and more pleasant than to completely surrender to the creative process, plunge into it headlong, and in return receive not only a lot of positive, but also be filled with the healing energy of sacred circles! The healing power of mandala drawing has been used for a long time in many cultures of the East.

If you have been on the road to recovery for a long time, or if you cannot overcome an illness for a long time, if you suffer from depression, insomnia, without the slightest hesitation, take pencils, paints, paper in your hands and act.

The result will not be long in coming: after a couple of weeks of regular practice, you will be pleasantly surprised - it has been verified!

What is a mandala drawing?

Mandala is a symbol of the wheel of life, cosmic processes of existence. The surrounding nature is diverse with mandalas: a lacy cobweb net, annual rings of trees, bird nests, a sunflower flower with ripe seeds arranged in a spiral counterclockwise.

Mandala drawing is the creation of an individual sacred symbol in the form of a circle, which reflects our inner self. In the process of work, internal conflicts are resolved, tension is relieved. Mandala is a unique tool for self-development and self-knowledge that allows you to solve important problems.

Mandalotherapy pulls negative emotions out, heals, resolves internal conflicts. But it is negative energy that takes away a lot of vitality from us: a person begins to get sick, weaken.

These are powerful techniques through which self-healing occurs. With this therapy, tears appear in the eyes. The subconscious mind splashes out the accumulated pain.

In the process of drawing, it is very important not to forget about even calm breathing and observe your body. It can give signals (cold, fever, pain) about where the problem is.

In a stressful situation, you can also use a drawing that will allow emotions to pour out - keep paper blanks with you.

It is useful to draw the same mandala every day and then observe the dynamics - what has changed in it.

Create your own mandala drawing

For drawing, choose a larger sheet, for example, A3 format, so that you can safely go beyond the boundaries of the circle. Draw a circle with a simple pencil. You can, for example, circle a large plate with a diameter of 27 cm.At least 3 cm should remain from each edge of the sheet to the circumference.

Find a center point in the circle that gives you a sense of balance. This will help achieve a steady state. Remember those natural forms that develop from the center, for example, about flowers, snowflakes, sea shells.

You are part of nature and you have a center from which you can grow and develop. Start painting from this center, depicting a certain figure of a particular color, and let the composition build itself by itself, as if without your direct participation. Trust the unconscious - let it choose color, shape, location.

With this drawing, you can learn a lot about yourself: when you finish drawing, you can read your mandala using the meaning of the symbols.

Consider your work at arm's length or a little further. Answer the questions: how are you feeling now? How did you feel before drawing? How has your condition changed? How does your mandala drawing feel?

Remember that there is no right or wrong mandala, it is what it is. It reflects your state at the moment. You can contemplate the finished work for 10-15 minutes a day in a calm, relaxed atmosphere. You need to start from the center and unwind your eyes in a spiral. Try to turn off your brain.

You can say to yourself:

“I want to receive the funds that I need to solve this problem. Help me and give me these opportunities. "

Numbers in mandala drawing

The meaning of numbers

1 - individuality, unity and beginning. May indicate a high level of self-esteem.

2 - conveys the state of tension, separation and conflict. If we look at the number 2 as a sacred union of opposites, it becomes a healing bond heralding the return of harmony.

3 - vitality, energy. It can symbolize the unity of the family that appears with the birth of a child.

4 - speaks of balance, integrity and completeness.

5 - mandalas characterized by a five can open you up to the real world, show a sincere desire to give it a piece of yourself.

6 is the number of creativity, perfection and balance. When six appears in your work, you may be in the final stages of a project that took a lot of time and energy. You may be experiencing a pause during which you can enjoy a sense of satisfaction, completeness, and even pride.

7 - can talk about the end of a certain phase of life, about a case that has come to its resolution, or about a desire that has been fulfilled. The number seven brings its divine past to our mandalas, where it brings good luck in the search for oneself.

8 - the number of stability, harmony, rebirth. You may find that eight in your mandalas heralds important life changes.

9 - Can herald the presence of benevolent spiritual energies that will strengthen your pursuit of personal growth.

10 - expresses your adherence to traditional moral norms or rebellion against them, shows spiritual inspiration, a sense of balance or a practical approach to life.

11 - it is possible that in your mandala the number 11 reflects a conflict that turns into a process that moves you towards a fuller realization of who you really are.

12 - can draw attention to the passage of time and the end of the cycle. For example, when you complete a project, end a relationship, or close an unfinished business from the past.

13 - when you see thirteen in your drawings, perhaps this is a sign that you have advanced into a new phase of life. Thirteen may say that the burden of the past is preventing a new direction, especially when you have not finished what happened before.

Symbolism in mandala drawings

The outer border is represented by a colored line, which is a favorable sign. In the absence of such a border, one can assume the loss of mental integrity, since the mandala characterizes the "I" of its author. Moreover, what is outside the circle is associated with the environment external to the individual. If the outer border of the mandala is dense, you can assume the desire to protect your fragile self.

The vast unpainted space indicates the desire of the author of the drawing to hide or suppress his feelings. In combination with the slightly noticeable outer border of the circle, it indicates a readiness for contacts.

Size of the center of the picture: small - indicates low self-esteem; is completely absent - it is possible that the work characterizes the author's ego.

Embryo. If the image in the center looks like an embryo or resembles it, this may indicate a person's inability to cope with stress. Often, a drawing with an embryo is drawn by alcoholics, which reflects their increased vulnerability and weakness. Often, when depicting an embryo, winding lines are used.

Square - in the middle, it can fit in the imagination of a garden or yard. You should ask yourself if it is open or closed. If the entrance to the "garden" or "courtyard" is closed, perhaps the author is experiencing stress or wants to leave stable feelings, sensations. A cube, a square is always something material, physical, this is how the earth is designated. If the square is orange, the person is trying to resist the pressure from the outside. If a square has an "entrance" and "exit", it can be regarded as a door and a gate through which energy flows.

Triangle - indicates movement. The top up is a sign of activity, the desire to protect oneself, one's interests. Top down - movement down to earth, possibly even to death and destruction.

Eye - is associated with the ability to know - to understand. It can mean a supernatural ability - clairvoyance. The presence of many eyes in a drawing can have both positive and negative meanings: it can mean the feeling of the presence of an observer of a person from the outside, the feeling that others are looking at you. Then you should think about what these eyes see in a person, and then compare with reality.

Flowers - can be harbingers of spring, revealing revitalization or acceleration in the cycles of personal growth. May mean the fulfillment of a goal or task that required more diligence on your part.

Heart (symbol of love) means a feeling of love or being in love. And also spiritual zeal. In both personal and spiritual love, a heart pierced by an arrow signifies devotion despite conditions of trial.

Heart - associated with courage, sadness, joy. Hearts can speak of wounds and suffering, especially if they are purple; broken, pierced with an arrow, more often symbolize unrequited love, but can indicate the process of separation from the mother and the associated suffering.

Spiral - speaks of the desire for growth and integrity. Sometimes it can mean awakening, acceleration of energy.

Drops - associated with human tears arising from sadness, anger, joy, release from emotions that are too strong to keep them in oneself. Like rain, purified tears wash away sorrow, anger, rage, making room for forgiveness. Four drops means that there is something in your environment that seems to interfere with your full potential.

If the drops are red, purple, this is a sign that you have to make some kind of sacrifice. Mandalas, containing shapes that resemble drops of rain or blood, are indicative of a natural, internal cleansing process.

Small circles within the picture can protect, guard or release some aspects of the self. Sometimes the circles intersect, overlap each other, forming an almond shape (mandorla). Mandorla appears in mandalas when a person experiences a state of grace. A mandala with an empty center suggests that a person is ready for change.

Cross. The connection of horizontal and vertical lines resembles the shape of the human body, which is in perfect balance. Or expresses life's difficulties. The desire to depict a cross indicates that the person is fighting a heroic battle. Maybe he's fighting to make the right decision or embarking on a new path.

Star - resembles a person who stands firmly on two legs. The appearance of an asterisk in a drawing indicates the ability to realize inspiration in reality. Countless little stars speak of potentials, competing goals.

Lightning - symbolizes the beginning of a new, powerful spiritual awakenings. When you draw lightning, wonder if you are going through some kind of dramatic change.

Hands can mean a willingness to actively engage with your life or body health.

Colors in mandala pattern

Each color has both positive and negative meanings, depending on the context where it is used (in this case, we will decipher the finished mandala that we are drawing).

The black. And it is associated with the denial of life - with destruction. On the other hand, it is a psychological death preceding a new life. Addiction to black can indicate rationalism, clarity, brevity, brevity.

Grey . People who prefer gray are characterized by common sense, a sense of proportion and the ability to solve complex problems. In a negative sense, gray can be associated with sadness, depression, illness, criticism. If you give preference to light gray tones, then it can be assumed that the person is ready for a full and adequate response to the stimulus, dark gray is characterized by increased sensitivity.

White . considered the color of purification and divinity. It is able to become a great healing color, as it contains the energy and power of transformation. It has a tonic effect on the human body. Anyone who prefers white (not shaded areas) needs relief from unpleasant circumstances.

Yellow. A bright yellow color indicates high intelligence and strong character. Unlike orange, yellow is associated with healthy self-affirmation. Light yellow reflects a clear mind and curiosity. He often testifies to a good relationship with his father. Toning color.

Orange - indicates a strong emotional dependence on a man, which can be manifested in both a feeling of love and a feeling of hatred. What is said positively about yellow is also true for orange, but to a higher degree. The orange sun can speak of a state of latent aggression in children.

Red - associated with male manifestations and physiology, the ability to defend their interests. If there is a lot of this color, it may indicate anger and the need to take revenge on someone. Red with black speaks of aggression. It cannot be ruled out that there are problems associated with various prohibitions, as well as blood diseases. This color indicates the ability to defend their interests, to defend their "I". A persistent lack of red can indicate passivity and lack of ability to get things done.

Pink is the color of reconciliation and is good in critical situations. A lot of pink indicates emotional fragility and insecurity, the need for protection.

Blue - associated with the place where a person feels protected and free from any obligations. In women's mandalas, this color indicates a positive attitude towards oneself. If the color is used in large quantities by a man, this may indicate some passivity.

Blue. Indicates intuitive ability (especially dark blue). A lot of blue signals a state of anxiety and depression.

Green also indicates the ability to take care of others, of oneself. The absence of this color may indicate increased nervousness, excitability, irritability.

Brown - expresses vital bodily-sensory relationships. Gloomy, dull brown speaks of experiencing a conflict situation. Brown can also be a sign of great potential. If this color is slightly in the center of the picture, then this may indicate an underestimated self-esteem of the author.

life, love, wealth, strength and success

Tarot mandalas are an extraordinary combination of ancient traditions and modern possibilities. Do you want to get rid of the limitations of the present? Open a new one? Is it better to live? Is it easier to solve problems? And while experiencing incredible bliss and pleasure?

New online development from Freestyle is just 5 minutes a day with which you can change your whole life!

What are Tarot Mandalas? It is known that mandalas (yantras) are sacred geometric figures and symbols, which, due to their combinations, have a special effect on our consciousness and subconsciousness. Tarot mandalas are mandalas created from tarot aces.

Aces in tarot are considered one of the most powerful cards (arcana). They symbolize the energies of the elements, renewal, new chances and opportunities. Depending on the suit of the ace (the suit corresponds to the element), the sphere of its influence is determined.

How do tarot mandalas work? To do this, you need to make a choice of tarot mandala at your request. Are you ready to find your mandala and experience something incredible?

In this tutorial, I will show you how to draw mandalas - intricate geometric patterns based on a circle. Mandalas have deep spiritual meanings in Hinduism and Buddhism. They represent our universe and are used in meditation. And recently, mandalas have become popular in the West as a therapy tool or simply for relaxation.

Drawing a mandala (or what is commonly considered a mandala in the West) may seem at first glance a difficult and impossible task, but in reality it is not. There is a certain rhythm in the magic mandala pattern, due to which such an amazing result is obtained. By following this rhythm, you can easily learn how to draw mandalas. Performing repetitive activities is, oddly enough, very relaxing. Read more about art therapy in the previous article.

You can follow my instructions exactly, or just read the lesson to familiarize yourself with the process, and then draw something of your own based on this knowledge.

What do we need

In art therapy, you do not need professional tools and everything you need to learn how to draw mandalas can be found in a regular supermarket or stationery store.

 • A sheet of paper (plain paper for printing will work)
 • Pencil
 • Compass
 • Ruler
 • Protractor
 • Fine marker (any color will do)
 • Thick marker (optional)

You can draw a mandala with one pencil, but with the help of markers, the drawing will be clear and bright. Pencil strokes apply easily and invisibly, and they will look more contrasting with a marker.

There is another important point in drawing a mandala: correct thinking. Of course, a mandala can be treated like a regular drawing and only focus on the result. And you can get more than the satisfaction of a beautiful job if you focus on the process. Think of it as a meditation session. Find a comfortable place, cut out unnecessary noise or play nice music and focus on your drawing.

Don't think about the end result or how people will react to your art. Also, you shouldn't treat this as a test of your skills. Surrender completely to the rhythmic pattern of the mandala and let it become a whole universe for you for a while. There is no good or bad. Only rhythm, lines and contrast of strokes.

Don't beat yourself up for mistakes, they are natural. Ignore them or make them part of the mandala, then the result will be even more unpredictable. This is your creation, your mandala - no one has to worry about how it looks. Including you.

Give yourself up to creativity. Don't be afraid to experiment and take risks. You shouldn't feel ashamed of your drawing. No matter the technique, no matter the result, your drawing will still be beautiful because you created it. A beautiful mandala won't change the world for the better, and an ugly mandala won't ruin your life.

So sit down, take a deep breath, smile and open your soul to the universe. Do not think about the outside world and focus only on the pleasure that the process of drawing a mandala brings.

How to draw a mandala frame

Step 1

Of course, you can skip this section and do without the framework, but this approach has two significant disadvantages:

 • You have to switch from a compass to a pencil all the time, and this confuses the process.
 • You will lose all rhythm.

Starting with the frame of the mandala, you can focus entirely on drawing the pattern itself without worrying about keeping the rhythm. You will simply follow the lines and watch the pattern appear magically.

Take a compass and place it in the center of a piece of paper. Draw a small center circle, then add a larger one, and continue in this manner until we have enough circles.

Step 2

Using the ruler, draw a horizontal line exactly in the center of the circles (place the ruler not exactly in the center, but a millimeter below to make room for the pencil line)

Step 3

Take a protractor and place it in the center along a horizontal line. We put marks at 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 degrees. There will be 12 segments, but you can use less or more - it's up to you!

Step 4

Again, take a ruler and draw lines crossing the center and each of the points marked in the previous step. Remember to leave room for the pencil, otherwise the lines will be misaligned.

How to draw the central part of the mandala

Step 1

Let's start from the center. We need to fill the smallest center circle with repeating elements. What elements to use? I decided to start with small petals.

Step 2

We repeat the element until we fill the whole circle. Take your time and be consistent! Concentrate on the movement of your hands, the rustle of a pencil, and think about your drawing.

Step 3

We guide the outline of the circle to add clear boundaries.

Step 4

Go to the next circle. In order not to deviate from the floral theme, let's draw a more interesting shape of the petals. We start with a curve ...

... and duplicate it around the entire circle.

Step 5

Now draw the left side of the petal.

Step 6

Draw the outline of the circle again and move on to the next one. Here we can experiment a bit! You don't have to follow the wireframe, so let's split each segment in half.

Step 7

Draw a leaf on the basis of this segment.

Step 8

This time we skip the outline of the circle, it will not be appropriate everywhere. We pass to the next circle, which will be a direct continuation of the previous one.

Step 9

Too easy? Add more details!

Step 10

Dark points can be used to fill empty space in an original way and add contrast.

Step 11

If the pattern looks a little empty anyway, you can add more elements. No matter how weird and ugly a particular part of the pattern is, the end result will still surprise you. So don't be afraid to experiment!

Step 12

The boundaries between the circles should not be empty and boring. There is enough space to fill them with details.

Step 13

If the new elements of the pattern are carefully detailed, then the previous ones may seem empty compared to them. But nothing prevents us from going back and adding details!

How to draw the outer part of the mandala

Step 1

There are no strict requirements for the size of the mandala - you can expand it as much as you want! However, the further from the center, the larger each section. But we can divide it into three smaller sections, so it will be easier for us to draw the pattern.

Step 2

Using contrasting elements can create an interesting pattern. If you have a thick marker it comes in handy for now, but painting with a thin marker can also be relaxing, if you're not in a hurry, of course!

Step 3

Fill the empty areas with lines.

Step 4

Let's try a different shape this time. For convenience, we will use the sections of the previous circle.

Step 5

Draw more triangles!

Step 6

It is easy to make a mistake when drawing the outline of a large circle. On large and complex mandalas, small mistakes are not so noticeable, but you can always correct them with a thick marker.

Step 7

Add more contrast.

Step 8

Fill in the free space with shading.

Step 9

Divide the next circle into three sections.

Step 10

Let's think about what other patterns can be added.

Step 11

We also add contrast here.

Finishing the mandala drawing

Step 1

Remember that you do not have to adhere strictly to the framework and can finish your mandala whenever you want. Go to the next circle and draw the petals that were added at the beginning.

Step 2

To make them part of the drawing, and not just the border of the mandala with white space, add a wide stroke. This is where the wide marker comes in handy.

Step 3

Add an inner line to fill in the space inside the petal.

Step 4

It seems we haven't drawn dots for a long time!

Step 5

Unfilled areas on the previous circle look empty. Let's fix this.

Step 6

This time, grab two circles at once and draw large petals.

Step 7

This time, keep the stroke thin and draw another inner row of the same petals.

Step 8

Fill in the empty space with strokes.

Step 9

To make the mandala look more open, add small elements outside the main pattern. For example, draw small circles at the tips of the petals.

Step 10

We draw points in each circle.

Step 11

To balance the detailed inside of the mandala, add dots on the outside.

Step 12

To keep the outer edge of the mandala open, instead of a bold outline, we draw dots.

Step 13

Done! Take another look at the mandala. Don't try to compare it to any unreasonable expectations. After all, your goal was to draw a mandala and you did it successfully!

In Tibetan Buddhism, there is a tradition of creating sand mandalas that are destroyed upon completion. They symbolize the fleeting nature of our lives. No matter how much effort we put in and what we achieve, life will end the same for everyone. You can also follow this practice by destroying your mandala to remind yourself once again that it is the process that is important, not the result. Only the journey itself, the pleasure that you get in the process, matters, not the final destination. Keep this thought in your head, do not think about the result of course and it will be easier for you.
