Take a look at the list of products, they will not hit your wallet at all, which means the snack will be budget-friendly and will easily fit into menu. By the way, for decoration you can use any green stuff, for example dill or fresh cucumbers. But, I suggest taking an ordinary carrot and making stars out of it, and decorating the diameter of a round saucer with parsley.

We will need:

  • boiled carrots - 1 pc.
  • jacket potatoes - 0.4 kg
  • egg C1 - 4 pcs.
  • smoked chicken - 0.2 kg
  • lightly salted or pickled cucumber - 1 pc.
  • hard cheese - 45 g
  • boiled sausage as garnish
  • olives
  • mayonnaise


Stages:

1. Since the salad will be flaky, immediately prepare a serving tray. And start laying out the products in this order, peeled boiled potatoes come first. Grate it on a coarse grater in the shape of a sun (1 pc.). Lubricate with a mesh of mayonnaise.


2. The next layer is chicken cut into small pieces. You feel the aroma when you make this cut, it just asks to be in your mouth. So, add chicken meat, season with mayonnaise, then grate the boiled whites on a fine grater, then chop the cucumbers into small cubes.

Housewives usually prepare this dish with canned saury, but I think it’s too primitive, although I adore it in this version. And if you need instructions, then here is a reminder.

But if you still want to add some zest to it, I suggest replacing the saury with salmon or trout. You can take pink salmon, because I don’t know all your preferences.

After all, you must admit, it will be much richer and more luxurious. Well, that's not all. Hold on, now you will be shocked, we will pack it in special molds, which you will make by hand. Of course, you can also take a pastry ring, but where can you get them in such quantities?


We will need:

  • trout or salmon - 0.2 kg
  • olive oil - 2 tsp

  • fresh cucumbers - 1 pc.

9. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Lubricate this layer with mayonnaise.

10. Separate the yolks from the boiled eggs. Grate the whites and yolks separately on a fine grater and place in the final layer. The squirrels will act as the edge of the New Year's mitten.

We will need:

  • Potato tubers - 2 pcs;
  • Egg - 3 pcs;
  • Apple (sweet) - 1 pc. (larger);
  • Onion (red) - 1 piece;
  • Mayonnaise for dressing;
  • Suluguni braided cheese (will be used for the braid) - 50 g;
  • Hard cheese - 200 gr;
  • Red cabbage (for coloring the fur coat);
  • Herring - 1 pc. medium size.

How to cook:

1. Boil eggs and potatoes.

2. Separate the whites from the yolks and grate them separately.

3. We also grate cheese, apple and potatoes.

4. Remove the bones from the herring and cut it into small cubes.

5. Chop the onion using a knife (the smaller the better).

6. Collecting the Snow Maiden. Using grated potatoes, we shape the Snow Maiden.

8. Place herring, onion, apple, cheese, yolk on the potatoes in layers (mayonnaise is not needed for the yolk)

9. Color part of the protein with cabbage juice.

10. Time to decorate. We make a hat, fur coat and mittens from dyed protein. The edges of the fur coat and the collar are made of white.

11. Peppercorns will serve as eyes. The nose and eyebrows can be made from sprigs of greenery.

12. Lips can be made using tomato paste or red bell pepper.

13. Suluguni cheese will be the Snow Maiden’s braid and bangs.

5. Grate the carrots raw.

6. We do the same with beets as with carrots.

7. Finely chop the greens (the smaller the better).

8. Peel the pomegranate.

9. Place all the ingredients on a saucer in a circle: potatoes, beets, meat, herbs, carrots and cabbage. Pour pomegranate seeds into the center.

10. Served on the table in this form. And already at the table, mix all the ingredients, seasoning with mayonnaise.

The kaleidoscope is ready.

  • While the pancakes are cooling, make the sauce by mixing 3 squeezed cloves of garlic in ¼ cup of mayonnaise
  • Cut a small piece of smoked chicken breast into strips
  • Roll the omelette pancakes into a tube and cut into thin strips
