Hexagram 2 ((Chinese 坤; pinyin: kūn)) is one of 64 symbols in the divination system of the Chinese Book of Changes. It consists of two Yin trigrams and is the complete opposite of the Qian hexagram. Also, each of the hexagrams is a combination of two trigrams, but the Yao combinations are called “gua”. So, each dash and each hexagram correspond to certain aphorisms - they are the answer for the fortuneteller.

The very process of fortune-telling consists in choosing six yao in the process of rather complex rituals and decoding, according to the Book of Changes, the meaning of the hexagram. Also, each of the trigrams symbolizes a certain season - depending on the Solar and Lunar movements.
