Oblivion crusader boots. You can search for relics in any order

Three millennia ago, at the dawn of the Alessian Empire, the legendary Ayleid mage-king Umaril the Unfeathered was defeated by his sworn enemy, the Holy Crusader Pelinal Whitestrike. However, on his deathbed, the hero predicted that Umaril would return to the mortal world in order to overthrow the gods of Tamriel and thereby avenge his defeat ...

Trouble Begins ... and Continues

My mother once said to me: “Melly, child, if you think things are going too well, do not rush to rejoice. Wait until the gods remember you. " All twenty-eight years of my life, I considered these words a simple warning - they say, be careful, do not lose your vigilance and everything else in the same spirit. But now, kneeling before the altar in the chapel of the Abbey of the Nine, I begin to think that there was much more hidden behind them than I could have imagined ...

Then I just returned from my wanderings in the northern provinces of the empire. After successfully selling trophies in the Imperial City, I counted the coins in my wallet and decided that I could afford a little vacation. Where? What a question! Of course, at sea. The pearl of the cities of Cyrodiil, Anvil, was waiting for me. After spending the night at the Tiber Septim hotel (walking like that!), I hit the road.

The sentry at the gates of Anvil glanced sideways at the dagger sheath attached to my belt and advised me to always keep my weapon with me. I smiled at him. Poor fellow. I was completely worn out in the service. Well, what could threaten me in a city where Hieronymus Lex himself, recently transferred from the capital, kept order? That is, in fact, anything, of course, - from thieves to an outbreak of cholera epidemic - but in the end, am I on vacation or not ?!

Pogrom in Zhmerinka. Or rather, in the chapel.

The city seemed to me to be both quiet and agitated. There were almost no people on the streets, but sometimes I noticed groups of people and elves whispering nervously. I approached one of these groups, but could only make out: "attack on the chapel", "prophet", "Umaril". What happened here ?! A large crowd gathered near the chapel, above which a shrill rattling voice echoed. Without listening, I approached the guard. “I advise against entering the chapel, madam,” he shook his head. "Unless you have very strong nerves." Well, I never complained about my nerves, and therefore, firmly pushing aside the representative of the authorities, I opened the heavy wooden door ... Damn it! I hurriedly picked up the hem of the dress because the floor was literally covered in blood. The stained glass windows with the images of the Nine are broken, some of the small altars are broken, corpses are everywhere. Around the main altar, on the floor, unfamiliar runes are written in blood, forming a regular circle. The smell of decay almost made me sick. I slammed the door and leaned against it. “I warned you, madam,” the guard remarked mournfully. Stifling the urge to send him to Oblivion, I pushed my way through the crowd to see who was going broke there. A tall, white-haired old man in a shabby robes spoke something about gods, the end of the world, crusaders, pilgrims and ancient prophecies. The usual nonsense. I interrupted his fiery speech and demanded an explanation - preferably intelligible and without fanaticism. Umaril is back, he said. Umaril the Unfeathered, the magic king of the Ayleids, defeated at the beginning of time by the hero Pelinal Whitestrike, companion of Saint Alessia. The Prophet also said that the bloody runes mean: "By the power of Umaril the Unfeathered, the gods were to be overthrown." Anticipating another tirade, I asked if there was a way to stop this dead king. "He who can fight with Umaril, who finds and reassembles the relics of the Holy Crusader, who is worthy to wear them - and only he."

Eh, my vacation is gone ... I wonder if women are accepted as crusaders?

Pilgrim's path

Curiosity will ruin me like a cat. The Prophet commanded a pilgrimage to the road sanctuaries of the Nine and issued a map with the altars marked on it. “Pray,” he said. "And perhaps the gods will speak to you." I thanked the elder, spent a day on rest, and the next morning, donning my worn-out armor, I drove out of the eastern gate of Anvil, heading for the Arkay sanctuary, which, by the way, is north of the Bryna Cross tavern.

From the flowering fields of Anvil to the snowy wastes of Bruma, from the breathtaking views of Lake Rumare to the hot, swampy forests of Leyawiin, poisoned by the proximity of Black Marsh. Fortunately, the Prophet's map was excellently accurate, and I hardly wandered. Arkay, Mara, Dibella, Akatosh, Julianos, Kynareth, Talos, Zenitar and Stendarr - these names were beating in my head like an alarm bell. I lost track of the days spent on the road, my hair smelled of dust, my boots were covered with mud from all seven counties ... Nine times I prayed for a blessing, and one after another the gods bestowed it.

In the early gray morning of the 30th of Harvest Month, I knelt at the last sanctuary. And I had a strange vision - as if I was lifted above the clouds, and the hero Pelinal himself spoke to me in the distant world. And the Holy Crusader told me that he could do little to help me.

Honestly, I wanted to hit him, even though he is a spirit and kind of disembodied. But, at least, the dead hero told where to start looking for relics, and showed the way to the tomb, which was erected a long time ago at the place of his death. This tomb now lay hidden by the waters of Lake Rumare, where the Upper Niben originates.

I ran across the bridge, hesitated, stopped and leaned over the parapet. Below, at a fair depth, were the Ayleid-style ruins, white and green. Y-yes, but jumping is too high! And how I do not like to swim in chain mail ... But, fortunately, it was just in my plans to go to the bottom like a stone.

On a note: there is no need to feverishly store up water breathing potions - the ruins are flooded only at the very beginning.

Inside, I did not encounter any particular surprises. I quickly crossed the ghostly greenish palaces and dived into the wall passage to the Crusader Sanctuary. On the floor of one of the halls, I found a skeleton crumbling from time to time. Nearby lay a sword and a strangely shaped scarlet shield. Careful so as not to disturb the fragile bones, I searched my ghastly find. My efforts were rewarded with an old key, a fancy ring-work, and - most precious - the diary of a long-dead ruin explorer. Sir Amiel, that's what his name was. He was once the head of the Order of the Knights of the Nine. These knights were just responsible for keeping the relics of the Crusader. Well, you must ... no, I, of course, guess that not the first on this path, but that the whole order! .. Turning the diary to the light, I read on brittle pages that the ancient abbey of the order was in the Western Forest.

Behind me, in a blaze of green flame, lay the Helm of the Crusader. Go ahead girl! Unlocking the pitifully creaking grate with the key, I ran on. Alas, it soon became clear that the direct passage to the Helmet was blocked. I had to make my way through the catacombs. Ugh, how I hate undead ... What a disgusting thing!

I can't believe ... I'm holding it! The legendary Helm of the hero of Pelinal is winged, with long narrow eye slits. Well, now, for sure, get out of here!

Snorting and spitting, I emerged from the water. It was already evening, and the setting sun turned the surface of the lake into a stream of molten gold. Whistling to my horse, I jumped into the saddle and galloped west along the Ring Road.

I will never forget the first time I saw the light gray walls of the ancient abbey - its clear slender lines, the graceful turret of the chapel. Time and the Western Forest tried in vain to consume it. Even the access road was pretty well preserved. Inside, however, desolation reigned. A mysterious symbol was laid out in a niche on the floor - an eight-pointed star with scarlet rhombuses crowning the rays. What's that hole? Come on, come on ... So it is. Sir Amiel's ring fit perfectly. Let's see which door this "key" opens ... Ay! The star suddenly crumbled down steps leading ... well, now we'll see where.

Basement. Training dummies, an extinct bugle ... aha, a door! There was a crypt behind it. Ahead I saw what I came here for - the Cuirass of the Crusader. However, as soon as I went to the middle of the crypt, a bluish fog covered the niche with Cuirass, and ghosts surrounded me. They were, as I realized, the knights-members of the order, and they were not going to give the relic without a fight! One by one, they stepped forward and drew their blades against me. Hmm, eight hefty oglamons against one fragile girl? Okay, not very fragile. Still somehow not chivalrous. Yes, and they are serious opponents, without a well-established block they cannot approach. In the end, Sir Amiel himself gave me the honor of fighting me. But he too soon collapsed onto the stone floor. What did you not expect, fine sirs? In my family, girls are brought up on a par with boys. You, of course, are knights, well, after all, I have been wielding a sword since I was three.

The magic fog faded, and the Breastplate (although rather chain mail) of the Crusader gently clothed my camp. I did some practice lunges. Almost does not restrict movement. Well, it must be the same, but it seems like it was done on a man ... An artifact, one word!

Let us see, however, what the late sirs have to tell us ... Sir Casimir reported that the Gloves of the Crusader are currently in the Chapel of Stendarr in Chorrol, in the same place where they fell from the hands of the owner long ago when he struck the beggar who addressed him. He added something else about the curse, but I didn’t listen. Sir Ralvas said that I would find the Zenithar's Mace in Leyawiin Chapel if my faith was strong enough. Quite hazy, of course, but better than nothing. Sir Henrik sent me to Fort Bulwork in the southeast of Cyrodiil, near the border with Black Marsh, to retrieve the Crusader's Shield. Finally, Sir Juncan told me what might lead me to the Boots of Pelinal. True, he did not say anything specific, only advised to find the servants of Kynareth in the sanctuary on the edge of the Great Forest. Well, yes, you'll have to run pretty much ...

In search of lost relics

Well, let's start with Kynaret.

It is important: in principle, you can search for relics in any order, but the test of Kynareth must be completed before you travel to Leyawiin.

Bridge over the abyss.

Oh, and I suffered with this sanctuary, half of the Great Forest went, but found - to the west of the Ayleid ruins of Fanakasekul, which is on the very shore of Lake Rumare. After talking with a priestess named Evita Vesnia, I found out that Kynareth should test me before granting the Boots, but the essence of the test - why was it not surprising to me? - she, Evita, is unknown. “Fear and respect nature in all its manifestations,” the priestess admonished and pointed to the west. “The Grove of Trials is there. Go, my child, and may the blessing of Kynareth be with you. "

At first the grove seemed empty to me, but after a minute a huge brown bear waddled out from behind the boulder. I turned pale and reached for the sword, but I remembered Evita's warning. I am invited to respect this beast ?! Oops ... The bear seemed to find the girl frozen in front of him a suitable snack and attacked. Damn it, these paws can cut me in half! I called for help with my meager knowledge in the school of the Restoration. And when this ... forest infection had almost achieved its goal, a huge boulder on the side of me smoothly went into the ground, opening the entrance to the cave.

How beautiful ... I've never seen trees grow right inside the grotto. On the altar was the goal of my path ... or rather, the first goal. Smiling nervously at the spriggan watching me closely, I grabbed the Boots. Where now? Chorrol was closest. Well, Gloves are so Gloves.

For the sake of interest, I tried to raise them, but with the same success I could try to push this chapel off the foundation. I looked around for a local priest. An incredibly courteous elf, who introduced himself as Areldur, willingly told me about a certain Kellen, a descendant of Sir Casimir and the bearer of his curse. Some nasty stuff again ... But there is nothing to do. After asking permission, I went to see this Kellen. He was a terrible sight. Perhaps even the urban beggars looked less emaciated and pitiful. I learned nothing new from my conversation with him, but Kellen sent me back to Areldur. I wonder if I'm them an errand girl? The elf tried to get away from the answer, but I pushed him against the wall. If a woman wants something ... especially a female warrior ... Ha! Finally, Areldur admitted that the only way to remove the curse from Kellen was to take it upon himself, but personally he was unable to do so. Cowards, simply put. Well, you can understand him.

I paused thoughtfully near the altar. Maybe it's not so scary? Although, if you remember what poor Kellen looks like ... I shuddered. She looked at the Gloves, which were surrounded by candles. Ah, since the goat is dead! I knelt down and offered a prayer to Stendarr, after which I returned to the unlucky young man and took his hands in mine. Oh, Oblivion take me! .. It seemed that I took on my shoulders the whole weight of the sky. Congratulations, Merelanta, you once again found a large migraine on your head ... The guy, you see, was a little crazy with happiness and ran around the chapel as a frightened hare, filling the space with joyful cries.

Areldur's eyes widened as I lifted the Gloves effortlessly and muttered something about my need to rethink my purpose. Well, yes, not every day a miracle happens before your eyes.

Now my way lay in Leyawiin. The southernmost county of Cyrodiil greeted me with a suffocating heat and heavy rain. No, it is absolutely impossible to exist here in armor! After resting at the hotel and changing my clothes, I went to the Zenitar chapel. Immediately upon entering I was attacked by a certain type named Karodus Okholin and showered with a barrage of questions about the relics of the Crusader. I got rid of the annoying ex-soldier, but first I figured out that I should pray at the tomb of St. Caladas and then maybe I'll see where the Mace is. In search of additional information, I turned to the local priest. Well, yes, he is far from the honey-friendly Areldur ... Well, boor! I could hardly restrain myself from spitting at his insolent Dunmer face, I snorted and went down to the basement.

Prayer took me to an unknown and very strange place. Most of all it was like the ruins of a fort, hanging in the void. The darkness was a little dispersed only by clouds of ghostly luminous fog and stars, like rushing fireflies ... or maybe not stars, the devil will disassemble them. Ahead, about a hundred feet away, Mace shone. Let your faith guide you, Sir Ralvas's voice rang through my head. Do I believe firmly enough for this faith to become a bridge under my feet? ..

Closing my eyes, I took a step into the abyss ...

I woke up in a chapel, at the tomb of St. Caladas. Of course, there was no mace with me. Yes, I haven't felt such a fool for a long time. And then a thought came into my long-suffering head. No wonder they told me so much about the close connection between Zenitar and Kynareth! So, maybe the key or, rather, the bridge to the Bulava was in my backpack all this time?

I resolutely changed my shoes. Steel boots were very original combined with a silk dress, but this time the patches of whitish fog formed an unreliable path, but still. I took the Mace, transferred to the tomb, shoved the curious rat stuck under my feet and left the basement.

To immediately find yourself in the thick of the battle! Some ... people - not people? .. in golden armor attacked the chapel. The newly acquired Mace, however, quickly cooled their ardor. When the raiders were finished, Karodus Okholin, impressed by my military talents, expressed a desire to join me. Well, if this soldier absolutely needs someone to command him ... I sent him to the abbey. At the same time, let him put things in order there, or something.

The last place remained. Fort Bulwork. We had to look for him too. From Leyawiin north to Blankenmarsh, and there east almost to the border with Black Marsh. Upon arrival, I found that I had competitors. Unknown sorcerers tried to prevent me from entering the fort. May the earth rest in peace ... but what am I? Better to press them down properly!

In the fort, I found a note saying that the Shield was undoubtedly here. Already good. It also contained a cryptic advice to pay attention to the candles along the walls as I walk through the gate to the lower levels. In the room with the note, I turned the first lever. The second showed up in the upper aisle overlooking the drawbridge hall. After running across the bridge, I stopped in front of four rows of pressure plates. What did the note say about candles? Left, middle, right, left ... Yes! The grate is up!

On my way, I came across prison cells, and one of them was not empty. The gloomy Redguard, who called himself Sir Tedreth, decided to join me in gratitude for his release. Let him, I'm not sorry. Finally, he said the following: "When the eyes of all the guards are watching you, Julianos will give you his blessing." I have no idea what the point is, but we'll figure it out along the way. Forward!

After long wanderings, I found myself in a huge hall with yet another drawbridge. The control lever was right there, I turned it and was about to step on the bridge, but something made me raise my head. Well it is! Darts rained down from above. Seizing the moment, I slipped to the second bridge. There were the same traps above him. Uf. Passed.

Another hall. Well, this is a huge fort! Four statues, or rather five, but only four are equipped with handles with which they can be turned. The eyes of the guards, hmm ... And here is a suitable platform to stand on. I'll deploy these ... guards. Let them look. I have nothing to hide.

The flame in the braziers flared red and went out. A secret door opened in the wall. The next catacombs ... that they were empty, tired. And the hall. There are already eight statues, and everyone turned shyly to the wall. In front of each - some kind of box. A staircase of two flights, and in the middle is a hefty stone chest. Curiosity is not a vice, is it? So, so ... what is there? Yeah, a certain Rodgar's cup.

As soon as I stepped onto the pressure plate next to the chest, one of the statues lit up brightly and the illusion of a hammer appeared in front of it. I put the goblet in the chest in front of the statue. The chest was immediately empty, but nothing changed. Instead, Rodgar's helmet appeared in a large chest. I wonder who he was, this Rodgar? Now, pressing the button flashed another statue, and a huge ruby flashed in front of it. Yeah, I think I'm starting to understand the system here ...

It is important: things appear in a large chest in no particular order, but the statues that correspond to them are always the same. The order from left to right, if you turn to face the door, is as follows: Varl's stone, helmet, goblet, sword, book, hammer, skull, jewel.

And the braziers flashed and went out again, the secret door opened again. And now I already hold in my hands the Shield of the Crusader covered with scarlet enamel. Am I dreaming? But no, before my eyes and through my efforts, ancient legends really come to life ... It's time to return to the abbey and tell the ghosts about your successes.

The ancient buildings were no longer empty. For the first time in three hundred years, residents have appeared in the abbey - wanting to join the revived Order of the Nine. Many I knew - Evita, Areldur, Karodus, Sir Tedret - and I saw someone for the first time. In the main building I was found by Laton, the squire of a certain Sir Roderick, who, like me, walked along the pilgrim's path and looked for sacred relics. Laton handed me the Leggings of the Crusader and told me that his master died in battle with the ghost of the last of the ancient knights - the renegade Sir Berik Vlindrel. I had no choice but to go to Anderpall Cave and try to wrest the corrupted Sword from the traitor's clutches.

Laton and I reached the desired cave already at dusk, and immediately a hungry cougar attacked us. I gave the young squire a critical eye as he charged the unfortunate cat with a furious cry and told him to wait outside. Once he took his legs, but suddenly the row may not be lucky. Sorry for the guy, I'd rather go alone.

As for the Anderpall Cave and the fort hidden in its bowels ... Did I mention that I hate the undead? A pile of stones fell on me at one of the doors. I barely managed to jump back. I also discovered the tomb of Lord Vlindrel, and next to him, behind a rickety wooden gate, and himself. Maybe during his lifetime he was a great warrior, but death had a deplorable effect on his skills.

So, I had the Sword, but I needed to re-consecrate it in the Arkay Chapel in Cheydinal. This may seem like the easiest thing I've ever done, but it wasn't. Umaril's minions attacked the chapel! Fortunately, I showed up just in time. They didn't even have time to finish the inscription around the altar. Oh, I'm getting too cynical ...

On my return to the abbey, I was informed that the Prophet had recently arrived, this moment preaches a sermon in the chapel. Interesting ... Maybe he will finally tell you how to end Umaril?

So I knew that there was some kind of catch! Umaril hid in the ruins of Garlas Malatar, near Anvil, but it was not enough to kill his body. The spirit had to be destroyed so that it could not be reborn in Oblivion. I sighed and asked the elder to continue. If he now demanded to shake both moons from the sky, I wouldn't be surprised! But it turned out that everything is somewhat simpler. The Prophet gave me the blessing of Talos, which he said should allow me to follow the spirit of Umaril and deal with him ... now forever.

It's time. My knights have already gone to Garlas Malatar. Soon it will all be over anyway.

The ancient Ayleid city in the sunset rays seemed to be a jewel in a sparkling frame. Only this jewel concealed a grain of poison ... We entered. Golden-faced Daedra - Umaril's henchmen - materialized in dozens right out of thin air. But how could that stop us?

In the end we broke into a vast chamber. In the middle of it, on a dais, rested a huge sphere, emanating a purple glow. A fluid curtain of magic blocked the exit from the hall. Daedra fell on us in some incredible amount, and, besides, they stopped dying! After a while, the killed ones got up, as before, full of strength and hatred towards us. Having given my comrades-in-arms the right to deal with the enemy, I literally flew right through the palace, up the stairs, to the cursed sphere. I was sure that it was she who kept the veil!

The explosion shook the city to its foundations, but the path was now clear. Then I walked alone, not knowing anything about the fate of my friends. And so I found myself face to face with Umaril. He hissed something in the ancient language - not a spell, not a curse. In any case, in his place, I would rather start swearing. Dodging enemy spells, I darted like a fox with a set on fire, but at last the mage-king fell, struck by the Zenithar's Mace. I summoned Talos and again found myself above the clouds ... Damned Umaril was right there with his spells! In the gaps between the clouds below, at a great height, the painfully familiar spire of the White Gold Tower could be seen. So I'm over the Imperial City ?! Okay, we'll think about it later, but for now ... get it, canalya! ..

I woke up in the crypt of the abbey. Nine knights surrounded me - nine, because Sir Beric Vlindrel, whose ghost I had destroyed in Anderpall Cave, joined his comrades. My mission is over. The knights admonished me goodbye, bequeathed to complete the revival of the former glory of the order, and disappeared. I hope there, in the mystical Aetherius, they will finally find peace.

As for me, I decided to arrange a vacation for myself - no one would argue that I deserved it? Only this time I'll probably go to Leyawiin - away from sin! ..

Early morning in Anvil. Nothing boded, as they say ...

This is important: in principle, you can search for relics in any order, but the test of Kynareth must be completed before you go to Leyawiin.

I saw you ... at an arrow's flight distance!

Sir Berik, let your sword!

Do I believe firmly enough for this faith to become a bridge under my feet? ..

Well, a decent girl without a dagger shouldn't even go to church ...

I think I've seen it somewhere ...

Knight on a white horse. Illustration.

This is important: things appear in a large chest in no particular order, but the corresponding statues are always the same.

Why are you, dear, looking askance, bowing your head low ...

Platoon! Listen to my command! On the piece-u-rm!

Upon my return to the abbey, I was informed that the Prophet had recently arrived and was currently preaching in the chapel.

Ah, Umaril, how did you ... kill me!

Only this time I'll probably go to Leyawiin - out of harm's way!

The plot of this addon starts in Anvil. Go to the local chapel, listen to the breaking voice of the prophet and have a heart-to-heart talk with him. The chapel is ravaged (if you are not already curious, estimate the scale of the desecration), the priests were sadistically killed, and clearly not by ordinary vandals. The Prophet sees signs of the return of Umaril the Unfeathered, the ancient king of the Ayleids. And you can stop it only by collecting the ancient relics of the Holy Crusader. How? Required to make a pilgrimage to the altars of the Nine. The Prophet will kindly provide us with a map of the sanctuaries. Start running around Imperial province... The task is not difficult, the map is accurate. Once you complete the pilgrimage, the notoriety will be nullified and you will be transported to heaven (a beautiful scriptwriter's move), where the spirit of Pelinal Whitestrike will speak to the hero. The ancient hero will give a tip to the first piece of the Crusader's Armor - the Helmet, resting somewhere in the flooded ruins of Vania ...

Vania is located south of the Imperial City. For added confidence, grab a couple of water breath potions and dive. The dungeon is full of all kinds of undead, be careful. Don't miss the body of the knight Amiel, on which you will find the key to the door leading to the Helmet, as well as a diary (very curious) and a ring. Once you get the key, the only obstacle on the way to the artifact will be the undead, but you already know how to solve such problems, right? With your helmet in hand, head to the abandoned Abbey of the Nine.

I advise you to stock up on healing potions along the way and get ready for a rather difficult fight. It can be quite difficult to complete the current task at a jump. Explore the abandoned abbey and note the mosaics on the ground floor. Amiel's ring will open a secret path to the catacombs. Here is the Breastplate. The problem is that you have to defeat all the ghost knights in a series of duels. If you suddenly realize that the onslaught of opponents is too strong, then start rushing around the tomb, recovering along the way. Try to finish off the next ghost away from the central circle in order to get additional recovery time while the defeated enemy returns to his place. By throwing the knights away, you will finally get the Cuirass. Talk to the ghosts, they will tell you where to look for the rest of the relics. Let's start with the Shield. In the Black Forest there is Fort Bulwork, where we are heading.

The fort would be no different from dozens of its kind, if not for the crowd of sorcerers and a couple of puzzles. The first is the pressure plates. Walk through them in this order: first row - left, second row - center, third row - right, last row - left. Once in the prison premises, free the knight Tedret. And here is the second "puzzle" - a hall with statues. Expand them so that the faces are in the center. Go to the last puzzle. There is a chest in the middle of the hall, in which some objects appear that need to be placed in the chest at the feet of one of the statues. How to understand which of the chests? Watch the statues closely and you will understand everything. The shield is now in in good hands... The next relic we'll go for is Boots.

Go to the Shrine of Kynareth west of the Imperial City. The local priestess will direct you to the Grove of Trials. There, a big and angry bear will attack you. Do not touch it under any circumstances! Run in circles, heal, swear, but do not hit the beast. Soon the beast will calm down, and the passage to the secret sanctuary will open. After enjoying the peaceful beauty of this place and gawking at the peaceful spriggans, take your boots. With them we will be able to get the Zenitar Mace in Leyawiin Chapel.

After talking with Karodus Ocholin, pray at the tomb of Saint Caladas (in the basement), and you will be transported to an amazing place. The mace is right in front of you, but you can only get to it in the Boots, which we already got. After walking along the shimmering road above the abyss (thrills guaranteed), grab the Mace. The chapel was attacked! After scattering the Aurorians (minions of Umaril) and preventing the "second Anvil", with a clear conscience go to the Church of Chorrol, for the next goal of our journey - Gloves.

The gloves are indeed stored here, but they cannot be taken. Chat with Kellen, who turns out to be a descendant of Casimir (one of the ghosts of the abbey, remember?). A family curse prevails over the guy, which can only be removed by taking it upon yourself. Hmm ... since we are the heirs of the Holy Crusader, then ... Pray at Zenitar's altar, and then talk to Kellen again. The curse is not so bad (it just reduces the rate of fatigue recovery). Not a big price to pay for a good deed. By the way, you can now pick up the gloves. The armor is almost complete, only the Leggings remain. We direct our feet to the abbey.

Laton the Squire tells the story of how he and Sir Roderick tried to retake the Sword of the Crusader in Anderpall. The knight died a heroic death, and Laton returned to the abbey with Greaves and wants revenge. Take the Leggings from the guy and do not take them with you to Anderpall - let him live more. Now we have collected the Armor of the Crusader, which, not only is well enchanted, but also grows in level with the hero! In the basement where you fought the ghosts, the armor can be adjusted to the level by placing it on the "hanger" and taking it back. But this is a lyrical digression, revenge for Sir Roderick awaits us. We fly full steam to Anderpall.

Hmm, very interesting place. Simply put, Anderpall is a fort buried underground. After wandering through the ruins and finding the body of poor Roderick, prepare to fight Vlindrel, also known as Sir Berik. Kindle with righteous anger and return the dead person to a more suitable state (peace). And here is the Sword. Only now he is cursed. You can clear the relic in Cheydinhall. Chop the ubiquitous Aurorians on the spot. That's it, we've collected all the Relics! Return to the abbey where the prophet meets us. We have been granted the Blessing of Talos to help us defeat Umaril. Now only the last battle remains ... in the ruins of Garlas Malatar.

Lead your knights into battle. Butchering Aurorians in such company is easy and enjoyable. Having burst into a large hall with a blue sphere on a pedestal, spit on everything and rush to it. By destroying the ball, you will find yourself face to face with Umaril himself. After defeating the mage king, use the Blessing of Talos. We fight Umaril again ... in the skies above the Imperial City! After conducting the final conversation (with the sword), you will save Tamriel from the cursed king forever.

Knights of the Nine is an official add-on for Oblivion "a. After installation, you need to go to the" Data files "and activate the plugin Knights.esp. So, we are in the game. At first glance, nothing has changed. But it is not. Many innovations we will find during the passage of a new main quest.

To get this quest, go to the Anvil Church and go inside. You will see a terrifying sight: there is blood around, all the ministers are killed, everything in the church itself is almost destroyed. Get out of there. We need to find someone who can tell us what happened. There are two guards at the central entrance to the church. Talk to any of them. The church was attacked, but the guards do not understand how the attackers could get past them. You will also learn that not everyone was killed. Only one person survived - the Prophet. You need to find him. You won't have to run far, because it is located directly opposite the main entrance to the church. Talk to him. You will need to find the lost relics of the order.
Pilgrimage

Entering the ranks of the Crusaders, you will have to visit 9 sanctuaries. You will receive a map with their locations. After praying to the eight gods, you will receive a vision. You will find yourself in the sky! There is a beautiful view of Cyrodiil from there. But the clouds are in the way. Listen to the story of the spirit and find yourself on earth again.
Crusader sanctuary

A marker will now appear on the map. This designation of the ruins of Vanua (and underwater), where we need to go. Stock up on potions or a water breath amulet. You can jump off the bridge - you won't hurt yourself. Find the entrance and swim. The undead await you in the ruins. After walking a little, you will enter the sanctuary of the Crusaders. Almost in the center is the first relic we need. This is the helmet of the Crusaders.
Not far from his location, you will see the skeleton of Sir Amiel, the crusader of the order. He also searched for relics, but apparently not very successfully. In his diary, you will read about the crusader breastplate. She, judging by the record, is in the western small forest, in the chapel of the Crusaders.
Monastery of the Nine

Pick up Amiel's ring and go there. The chapel itself is located southeast of Skingrad. Enter the chapel and insert the crusader ring into the center of the polygonal star on the floor. You will see a secret passage leading to the training room. From there, go to the basement. At the end of the room you will see the cuirass we need.
But it's not that simple! After walking a little, 8 ghost guards of the cuirass materialize around you, among which is Sir Amiel. To get the cuirass, you will have to fight all the ghosts. And this is not so easy. But by defeating them, you will gain access to the cuirass. Take it and talk to each ghost in turn. You will be shown the rest of the Crusader relics.
Stendarr's Mercy

The next relic - gloves - is located in the Corolla chapel. Once there, try to pick them up. Heavy? We'll have to find another way. Talk to the priest named Areldur. He will say that there is only one person who can lift them. This is Kellen, resting here in the chapel. After talking with him, you will learn that a curse lies on him, which allows him to raise his gloves. Talk to Areldur again. Now you need to pray at the altar. You will receive a spell that will need to be cast on Kellen. His curse will pass on you, and at the same time the opportunity to lift the gloves of the crusaders. That's it, the quest is complete.
Nature's fury

The Crusader Boots are found in the Shrine of Kynareth in the Great Forest. You need to follow there and talk to the priest. To get the boots, you must complete the challenge. Go to the grove west of the sanctuary and wait. Soon an animal will appear (its type depends on your level) and will begin to attack it. Defend, but don't attack him! After a couple of blows, the animal will calm down, and a secret passage will be found. You will find boots in the cave.
Wisdom of the Ages

The Crusader Shield is hidden in Fort Bastion, northeast of Leyawiin (near the Black Marsh border). Once you get there, go inside. There are many mysteries and traps in the fort. Activating all sorts of levers, you will finally see a grate, in front of which there will be four rows of pressure blocks. Activate the following: Row 1 - Left Block, Row 2 - Center Block, Row 3 - Right Block, Row 2 - Left Block. If it does not work out, then go through all the blocks yourself, noting which will not make sounds. Finally the grate will rise, and, entering the door, you will encounter a prisoner. Free him and get a hint: "When the eyes of the guards fall on you, Julianos will be supportive." (approximate translation) Not clear? It will become clearer further. Finally, you will find a room with a statue of a god and four statues of guards. There is a sign on the floor in the center. Now we need to somehow use the hint. The statues are facing the wall, and we need to make them all look at the circle. each has a lever. Rotate each until the statues are in position. A secret entrance will open. After passing a little, you will meet the next (and last) riddle. In the center of the room there is a staircase, in its center there is a drawer and a pressure block. There are eight statues with boxes around the stairs. Take a thing from the central box and click on the block. A picture of the item will appear above one of the boxes. Throw an object there and repeat the procedure until you remember which image appears above each box. Now take the thing from the central box and put it in the corresponding box near the statue, above which there is an image of this object. If you did the right thing, the box will flicker. Repeat until all boxes are flickering. A passage will appear in the room, which contains the shield of the crusaders.
The path of the righteous

Finally, another relic, the Zenitar Mace, is located in the Zenitar Chapel in Leyawiin. You can only complete the mission if you have the rest of the relics (helmet, breastplate, boots and gloves). There you will meet another relic seeker. He also needed a mace, but he did not pass the test. Go down to the chapel basement. After killing the undead, approach the coffin of Saint Calados. Activate it and you will teleport to a strange place. You are standing on the platform, you can see the mace, but you cannot reach it, because you are separated by a great chasm. You cannot exit either, because the exit is above you - getting there is also unrealistic. We'll have to get to the mace. Put on the armor of the crusaders, and a ghostly path will appear in front of you, along which we go and take the mace. Leaving the basement, you will find that the church was attacked by the servants of our worst enemy - Umaril. Kill them all and return to the eight guards (in the chapel southeast of Skingrad). Arriving at the place, Lotan will approach you (remember, we freed him?) And will speak to you. From him you will receive the Leggings of the Crusader.
Devoted servant

And finally, the last relic - the sword of the Crusaders - is located in the Anderpall cave. Lotan's master, Sir Rederick, fell in battle in this cave. The sword went to the ghost of Lord Wlindler. Lotan wants to avenge his master. You can take it with you if you like. Now go to this very cave. It is located approximately halfway between the cities of Broome and Coroll.
Crusader sword

Enter the cave. At first, you will not meet enemies, but after finding the entrance to the Anderpalla fortress, archers will open fire on you. In caps you will meet undead and rats. Finally, after going into the third cave, you will see the ghost of Vlindler. We must kill him. He fights great, then we are stronger! After killing the ghost, pick up the blade. Yes, this is our goal. But a curse has been imposed on him, which can only be removed in the Arkai Chapel in Cheydinal. Arriving at the chapel, you will see that the Aurorans attacked it (we have already met them). Clear the sword on the altar and then clear the chapel itself of Umaril's servants. Now you can go back to the Monastery of nine.
Blessing of Talos

It's not even a mission, but a conversation. A prophet has arrived at the monastery and wants to see you. Go to the chapel and talk to him.
Umaril

The turn of the most difficult mission has come. In it, you need to destroy Umaril himself, and not only physically, but also spiritually. You will receive the "Blessing of Talos" spell (you will need it). To complete the task, I advise you to put on all the armor of the crusaders, and from the weapon take either the Zenitar mace or the sword of the crusaders. Several more knights will go with you. Umaril is located in his fortress Garlas Malagar, which is in the north and slightly west of Anvil. Having reached there, give the order to the soldiers to storm, and run after them. Kill the Aurorans guarding the entrance and enter. This is where the fun begins. After interrupting a few more Aurorans, click on the block and follow the opened door. Here you will be attacked by 4-6 Aurorans. It is difficult to interrupt them, therefore, before going to them, it is better to wait for the assistants. Finally, you will find a room with a blue sphere at the top. Her Auroran guards are immortal. If your enemy has fallen, and he has no lives, this does not mean that he is dead. After a short period of time, he will rise. Therefore, quickly run up past them, press the block, destroy the sphere and run to the flickering invisible wall. The sphere will explode, and you, entering the door, will meet with Umaril himself. Defeating him is difficult, but possible. Having done this, use the spell "Blessing of Talos" and find yourself in the sky. Fight him again. This time he's done with. You will start to fall, but during the flight you will be teleported to the Monastery to the eight ghosts.

That's all! Umaril is defeated, and you formed your own crusader order. This is where the campaign ends.
