Loboda Svetlana (born 10/18/1982) is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, TV presenter, designer. She became famous with the beginning of her solo career after participating in the VIA Gra team. Honored Artist of Ukraine.
Young years
Svetlana Sergeevna was born in Kyiv, she began to sing almost from the cradle. Her grandmother was an opera singer, her father held a senior position at an aircraft factory, and her mother worked in the energy sector. Simultaneously with a regular school, which she was not particularly interested in, the girl also attended a music school.
Creative activity has always occupied her more than other things. In music classes, she studied piano, conducting and vocals. After school, she continued her education at the vocal department of the Variety and Circus Academy.
At the same time, she joined the Cappuccino group, well-known in Ukraine. Svetlana began to earn money, she had her first fans. However, soon the band's popularity began to decline, performances became less and less. The contract with the group was valid for another two years.
Having hidden her decision to work solo from producer V. Doroshenko, Svetlana began to sing on dance floors under the pseudonym Alicia Gorn. With a friend M. Yasinsky, they invent the image of a mysterious girl. Later, she gets the main role in the musical "Equator". At first gaining popularity, the performance nevertheless quickly fades and closes.

In 2003, Svetlana gathers the Ketch musical group, which in a short time manages to form a repertoire and a program for performing in Kyiv clubs. In 2004, the singer decided to take part in the casting for the VIA Gra group for the place vacated after A. Sedokova. Together with the team she toured Asia, starred in the video clip "Biology", the musical "Sorochinsky Fair". Loboda worked at VIA Gre for only a few months.
At the end of 2004, she recorded the single "Black and White Winter", which became quite successful in Ukraine and Russia. The following year, the video clip "I Won't Forget" won first place at the Portuguese Foreign Clip Festival. At the end of the year, the debut album "You will not forget" is released. In 2006, he continues to be active: he shoots a new video, records the song "Wait, man", works as a presenter on the "New Channel". The following year, she leads Miss CIS to TET and creates her own travel agency, Happy Vacations. Since 2008, he has started working on a collection of clothes for young people and is recording the second disc "Not Macho". Loboda tries not to make his personal life public. It is only known about her romance with the choreographer A. Tsar. The girl's parents, Sergei Vasilyevich and Natalya Vasilievna, had nothing to do with creativity, but her grandmother, Lyudmila Loboda, was an opera singer in the past and instilled in Sveta a love of music in every possible way.
Little Loboda began to sing at the age of two, first for relatives and friends, and later, when she grew up a little, she began to study at a music school, which she later successfully graduated from.
I must say that Sveta not only liked this lesson, she also managed to sing very well. So no one was surprised when, after receiving a secondary education, Loboda decided to become an artist and entered the Kyiv Variety and Circus Academy in the pop vocal department.
Early life and first steps in music
Svetlana took her first steps on the professional stage during her studies at the university. The girl was cast in the Ukrainian girl group "Cappuccino" and became its soloist.
Svetlana toured the country for two years with the team, but when the contract ended, she did not renew it, deciding to perform on her own.
For her first stage image, Loboda chose foreign songs and the pseudonym Alicia Gorn. However, after dozens of concerts, Svetlana decided to change her role and founded the Ketch group.
The team was popular with the local public and became fateful for the singer, because it was at the concert of this group that producer Konstantin Meladze noticed the talented girl.

Soon after meeting with Meladze, Svetlana came to the casting, which was arranged by the producer, and was among the finalists of the project. Later it turned out that Konstantin recruited soloists not into a new group, but into VIA Gru, which was already popular at that time.
However, the producer needed only one singer, and as a result, by coincidence, his choice fell on Svetlana. The girl replaced Anna Sedokova in the group, who decided to temporarily leave music and devote herself to her family.
Loboda had to re-record the vocals of the group's songs in a short time and sign a contract that was not the most profitable for her for a number of reasons.
Svetlana began touring with the group, which at that time also included Vera Brezhneva and Nadezhda Meikher, and gained such long-awaited popularity, not only in Ukraine, but also abroad.

Solo work and Eurovision
Not all the girls who left the groups for solo swimming, and now we are talking not only about VIA Gre, eventually became successful, but Svetlana succeeded.
Over the next couple of years, Loboda released a number of popular songs, many of which she shot very explicit videos, and released her debut album, You Won't Forget.

Interestingly, Svetlana developed not only in music. So, in 2005-2009, Loboda organized a charity exhibition of photographs, released two collections of clothes, tried herself as a TV presenter of several programs and recorded the second studio disc “Not Macho”.
