In principle, this is a peculiar, surprisingly flexible wallpaper for decoration. You can work with this material without even having special qualifications. As for the technical characteristics, it is a light (3-4 kg/m2), refractory (up to +650°C), elastic material. Due to the insignificant thickness of the "flexible stone" (most often it is somewhere around 1.5-2.0 mm), additional grouting is not required. Jointing is carried out immediately after gluing the tiles to the width of the seam using a wet brush moistened with water. Then the entire coated surface is allowed to dry.
If cracks form during bending at the corner, then they are rubbed with pieces of scrap material. A colorless primer for porous surfaces is applied to the crack with a brush (photo 15).
