Let's get started, this will make everything clearer.

Classic manna recipes - step-by-step recipes with photos

In this article, we will look at preparing manna with different ingredients that are most often used when baking it.

Menu:

Ingredients:

  • Semolina - 1 cup
  • Kefir - 1 glass
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp.
  • Vanillin - 1 - 1.5 g (a sachet, they are available in 1 g and 1.5 g each. Take the one you need, what taste you like)
  • Powdered sugar.

Preparation:

1. Pour semolina into a deep cup. Fill it with kefir. Stir until smooth. Close the lid and leave for 2 hours for the semolina to swell.

2. Somewhere before our semolina sits, we begin to prepare the egg-sugar mixture. Pour sugar into a deep bowl. Break a couple of eggs into the sugar and beat the mixture well with a whisk until smooth.

3. After beating well, add soda and vanillin and continue beating a little more.

4. Add the real semolina to the egg mixture and stir it all well.

5. After the mixture has become homogeneous, add flour. And of course, stir again until smooth so that there are no lumps.

6. Prepare the form. We have a silicone mold. Lubricate it with vegetable oil so that it does not stick when we take it out.

7. Place our resulting mixture of eggs, semolina and flour in a mold.

8. Place the mold on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Turn on the oven at 180°-200° for 30-40 minutes. I usually set 180° for 35 minutes, but I keep watching what happens. Time and temperature depend on the quality of your oven and the thickness of the manna. The mannik should be well browned.

You can check the readiness of the manna by piercing it with a long thin wooden stick or a toothpick. If the stick comes back dry and there is no dough stuck to it, then your manna is ready.

Well, we take out our semolina. How beautiful it turned out. Try it.

  • Flour - 250 ml. (1 glass)
  • Sugar - 250 ml. (1 glass)
  • Baking powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 80 ml.
  • Butter - 20 g.

Preparation:

1. Break the eggs into a deep cup and add sugar to them. Beat the eggs with a mixer. There is no mixer, beat by hand with a spoon or fork, or most conveniently with a whisk.

2. Beat the eggs and sugar thoroughly and add vegetable oil to them.

3. Continue beating until the mass is homogeneous. Let's set it aside for now.

4. Take another deep cup. Warm the milk just above room temperature to dissolve the butter in it. Do not boil the milk or heat it too much. Add butter to the heated milk and stir until it dissolves.

5. Pour the egg mixture into the milk and butter and mix well. Gradually, stirring constantly, add a glass of semolina to the resulting mixture. Add a pinch of salt, mix again and set aside for 1 hour to allow the semolina to swell.

6. Pour a glass of flour into a deep plate and add a tablespoon of baking powder to it. Mix the flour thoroughly and pour it into the semolina with the egg mixture, which has already swollen for an hour. Add a little at a time, stirring constantly.

7. We have a medium-thick mixture, similar to sour cream.

8. Grease the pan with butter, making sure to grease the bottom and sides. Sprinkle flour or crackers onto the butter in the mold so that our manna does not stick. Sprinkle thoroughly on the sides too. Pour out any excess flour that does not stick to the butter; we don’t need it.

9. Place the dough in the mold and place in the oven preheated to 180° for 40 minutes.

10. Mannik baked for exactly 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and you can check with a toothpick or, better yet, a long wooden stick; if the stick comes out without sticking dough, then the manna is ready.

11. Remove the form from the manna, let it stand for a while to cool and put it on a plate.

12. You can decorate the manna using multi-colored food coloring in tubes. They are sold in candy stores. Instead of dyes, you can use jam, cream, preserves, etc.

We cut off a piece, how delicious it is. And how beautiful.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Semolina - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Sour cream 15% - 150 g.
  • Soda - 1 tsp.

Preparation:

1. Pour semolina into a deep cup and add sour cream to it so that the semolina swells. Mix everything thoroughly and set aside for 1 hour.

2. We got a somewhat thick mass, this is due to the fact that we used 20% sour cream, so in the ingredients I wrote 15% sour cream, it will be better.

3. Break the eggs into a cup, add sugar and beat well.

4. Pour the beaten eggs into the semolina, which has already swollen in an hour. Mix thoroughly. While we have such a liquid consistency, add soda and baking powder, stir so that they disperse better. We try to mix so that there are no lumps.

5. Gradually, constantly stirring so that there are no lumps and so as not to add too much, add flour. We can use flour to control the consistency of the dough.

6. Don’t forget to turn on the oven to warm up at 180° at this time.

7. The dough turned out not too thick and not too liquid. A little thicker than sour cream.

8. Place the dough in a silicone mold. If the mold is not silicone, it is best to either grease it with oil or sprinkle it with breadcrumbs so that the dough does not stick. I also sprinkle silicone molds just in case. Place in the oven for 35-40 minutes.

We check readiness using the standard method, either with a toothpick or a wooden skewer. If the dough does not stick when pierced in the middle, then the manna is ready.

Remove from the oven. Let cool slightly and transfer to a plate.

Mannik can be served with any jam, pitted for small children. Cut, pour over jam and serve.

Ingredients:

  • Apples - 5 pcs.
  • Flour - 200 g.
  • Sugar - 200 g.
  • Semolina - 200 g.
  • Baking powder - 10 g.
  • Butter - 100-150 g.

Preparation:

There is a small but very interesting secret in this recipe. We add all components in dry form.

1. Pour sugar, semolina and flour into a deep cup. Mix everything well. After mixing, add baking powder and mix everything thoroughly again. Set aside.

2. Grate the apples directly with the peel on a coarse grater, naturally after washing them well first.

3. We put parchment paper on the bottom of the mold in which we will bake the manna, and spread butter on the sides of the walls of the mold. We have all the ingredients ready.

4. We begin to put the ingredients into the mold. We will lay it out in layers, approximately 1.5 cm thick. The first layer is to lay out, or rather pour, a mixture of semolina, flour and sugar into the mold. Let's level it out.

5. Lay out the grated apples in a second layer and level them too.

6. Place another layer of semolina and flour mixture on the apples. Then grated apples again. The top layer should be semolina with flour.

7. Level the top layer and generously rub butter onto it using a coarse grater. To make it easier to rub, we put it in the freezer in advance for a short time.

8. Place the pie in the oven, preheated to 180°. Time approximately 20 minutes, but be sure to check doneness with a toothpick. You already know that if you pierce the top of the pie and remove it dry from the pie, then the pie is ready.

9. We held the pie for 5 minutes at 180°, and then reduced the heat to 150° and kept it for another 15 minutes. Checked with a stick, ready.

It was easy to prepare. We didn't bother with the dough. It turned out very tasty. The butter on top gave it a special flavor and fried crust.

Everyone knows what mannik is. This pie doesn't really need advertising. And every housewife has her own favorite recipe, and sometimes even more than one. After all, dessert can be prepared with kefir, sour cream and milk.

Like all dishes that are very loved and often prepared, it has not remained unchanged. There is a classic method of preparation, and there are also many modified options and variations. As a rule, they maintain the basic proportions, but in addition some additional ingredients are added that change the taste of the dish.

It must be said that the pie turns out to be quite high in calories. So, if it is prepared with kefir, it contains 249 kcal per 100 g. And there are recipes in which flour is not added. Due to this, the calorie content of the dish is slightly reduced. And if you reduce the number of eggs, or cook without them at all, then it can be reduced more significantly.

Today I propose to prepare options with different ingredients and tastes. Among them there will be very simple ones, as well as more complex recipes, very original and not often found.

Anyone who loves baking probably knows this recipe by heart. As far as I remember, I used it to bake my very first baked goods, when I was still in the 5th or 6th grade.

And needless to say, the pie turned out great the first time. And this stimulates further culinary experiments.

We will need:

  • kefir – 1 glass
  • flour – 1 cup
  • semolina – 1 glass
  • sugar – 1 glass
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • salt - a pinch
  • baking soda or baking powder (0.5 teaspoon or 1 teaspoon, respectively)
  • butter – for greasing the pan – 15 g

You can add a pinch of vanillin or a bag of vanilla sugar.

That is, remember it is elementary - one glass of all the main ingredients and 2 eggs. In this case, the size of the glass can be of any volume. The only important thing is that all ingredients will be measured in only one.

Preparation:

It is advisable to remove kefir and eggs from the refrigerator in advance so that they warm up at room temperature. With such products the dough will rise better.

1. Break two eggs into the prepared bowl. Add sugar to them. If you want your baked goods to have a vanilla taste, you can add vanilla or vanilla sugar.

2. Mix first with a spoon so that the sugar does not fly in different directions. And then beat with a mixer until the mass turns white and all the sugar has dissolved. Or you can beat it with a whisk.

Now we are mixing it with a mixer. And before they didn’t even know such a word. That's why they beat it with a whisk. And even if it didn’t turn out white, they tried to break the sugar until the crystals dissolved.

3. Add kefir. If you have prepared soda, then quench it with vinegar, pour a few drops into a spoon with it, and add to the kefir mass. Stir the mixture. And you can immediately see small bubbles appear on the surface. The soda reacted with sour kefir.

It must be said that it is not necessary to use the freshest kefir. Even if it has been in the refrigerator for a week, you can safely use it for baking. And if there is a little less of it left than a glass, then the missing volume can be filled with sour cream or milk. And it will be even better if the milk has already fermented.

4. Add semolina. And stir again until the lumps disappear and the mixture is homogeneous. Let stand for 5 minutes so that the cereal swells a little.

5. Then add the sifted flour. And if you decide to use baking powder rather than soda, then you also need to sift it along with the flour. Gently stir the flour into the mixture. It will be difficult to mix with a spoon or a whisk. The mass turned out to be quite dense and viscous. And that’s great, that’s how it should be!

6. But in order for the dough to rise well during baking, it is advisable to give it the opportunity to stand for a while. During this time, all the ingredients will disperse better and reveal their full potential.

Sometimes there is no time to wait. And this pie is considered to be made in a hurry. That’s why sometimes you mix everything at once, without much ceremony, and straight into the oven. And even in such spartan conditions, he always succeeds.

But if you have time, then let the dough sit, the cake will turn out more fluffy and crumbly.

I usually leave the dough for 30 minutes. During this time, the cereal will disperse, and the flour will become more sticky, viscous, and therefore homogeneous.

7. While the dough is resting, prepare the mold. As a rule, I bake these pies in a silicone mold. It does not stick and rises perfectly. And for me it is also important that it comes out of this form without any problems. It just simply “jumps” out of it.

But still, to be sure, it is better to grease the mold with butter. Firstly, the pie will probably be easy to take out after cooking, and secondly, it will acquire the pleasant aroma of so-called home-baked goods.

8. You should also preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance. And now there are ovens that are not preheated. So look at what you have. Typically, the oven should be preheated for about 15 minutes, setting the temperature to 180 degrees.

9. When the dough has settled, pour it into a greased pan and put it in the oven to bake. Baking time is usually 35 - 40 minutes, depending on how the particular oven bakes. If you already know for sure about all the features of your stove, then you can set a timer for this time and go about your business.

If you are just getting acquainted with the oven, then it is better to observe the process. Although it is not recommended to open it for 20 minutes.

During this time, the dough gains strength and rises to make our baked goods fluffy and airy. Below is a video in which you can see in fast motion how the cake grows and browns.

10. The finished pie should have a beautiful golden brown crust. Do not overcook it, otherwise the crust will be tough and the dessert will lose some of its merits.

You can check if it is ready by piercing it in the middle with a toothpick. Fully baked dough will not leave a single mark on it. And this will be a signal that it’s time to take out the baked goods.

11. Take it out, let it stand in the mold for about 5 minutes. Firstly, both the mold and the baking will cool slightly, and secondly, the cake will move away from the walls.

Then it will be possible to get it easily. To do this, you can cover it with a cutting board and turn the pan over. When the manna remains “upside down” on the board, place a large flat plate on top and turn it over again.

In the future, serve it in it, cutting it into pieces.

You can eat the pie both hot and cold. Wash it down with tea, milk, and coffee - whichever you prefer.

You can make any cakes on this basis. To do this, the cake is cut into two parts lengthwise, and each of them is coated with prepared cream. Decorate to your liking. A very convenient baking option for those who are just taking their first steps. And also when there are guests on the doorstep, or you just want to please your loved ones with something over evening tea.

Lush crumbly manna without flour, cooked in the oven

We already started talking about calories today. So this recipe is exactly where we will try to reduce them. To put it simply, we will prepare a pie without flour. Interesting?! And I was very interested in what would happen when I cooked this way for the first time. There was no certainty about the result, and there were continuous doubts.

We will need:

  • kefir – 1.5 cups
  • semolina – 2 cups
  • sugar – 1 glass
  • egg – 3 pcs
  • baking powder for dough – 1 sachet 18 g
  • lemon zest – 1 teaspoon without a slide
  • salt - a pinch
  • butter - for greasing the pan

I will bake it in a muffin tin with a diameter of 24 cm.

For decoration I used ready-made vanilla frosting and chopped nuts. But this is optional.

Preparation:

As you can see, the proportions of the previous recipe are practically preserved. We remember what they are - 4 glasses and 2 eggs. There are 4.5 cups and 3 eggs. And there is an explanation for this. Semolina swells more than flour, so add an extra half glass of kefir and 1 egg. If you add less, the dough will not be as liquid as desired, and it will be more difficult for the cake to rise.

That is, everything is easily explained. And so, let's start cooking.

1. Break the eggs into a bowl that is convenient for using as a mixer. If you don’t have such an assistant, you can use a whisk. In this case, it will take a little more time to knead, but the result will be the same.

2. Add sugar and a pinch of salt and mix the mixture using a mixer. Beat until all the sugar crystals have dissolved and the mixture turns white.

3. Add kefir. I took it out of the refrigerator in advance, just like the eggs. In this state, kneading will be faster and easier, and the finished dough will be more airy, which will ultimately affect the quality of baking.

Continue kneading using a mixer or whisk.

4. Add lemon zest. I already have it ready-made, and I just pour it into the mass. But it doesn’t always happen, and in this case you just need to grate the skin of a clean lemon on a fine grater. Just rub one yellow part, the white part is bitter and not suitable for desserts.

Instead of lemon zest, you can use orange zest or vanilla sugar. In this case, you can add a whole bag of sugar. Or vanillin on the tip of a knife. Any flavoring aromatic additive will be in place.

5. Also add baking powder for the dough. And in this case, one teaspoon, as usual, is not enough. Add the whole bag at once. Semolina is heavier than flour, and baking powder will give it the strength to rise. Add that too.

Continue whisking the mixture until it becomes homogeneous. There should be no lumps left in it, and many small bubbles will appear on the surface. The dough is alive, and that's good. All processes will continue and the baked goods will rise perfectly.

6. And to do this, let’s leave it to infuse for 30 minutes. During this time, the cereal will swell and will not be hard in the finished baked goods.

7. You can bake in any form convenient for baking. This can be an ordinary silicone mold, but previously they were simply baked in a frying pan.

I decided to use a springform pan that has a special insert for baking cupcakes. Its size is 24 cm in diameter.

The mold must be generously greased with butter.

8. Cut a piece of parchment paper and line it on a baking sheet. If the mixture leaks out, it will not stain it. Place the greased mold on a sheet of paper.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

9. Pour the dough into the mold in an even layer and place in the oven to bake for 35 minutes. During baking, do not open the oven door for at least 20 - 25 minutes.

During this time, the dough rises, and if the door is opened, it will fall. In this case, the pie will turn out low and hard.

10. When 35 minutes have passed, open the oven door, take out the cake and pierce it right in the middle with a toothpick. It should go in easily and come out just as easily. At the same time, there should be no dough residue left on it. If the dough catches on the toothpick, let it sit for another 5 minutes.

Also, the surface of the pie should not be overcooked. It has a pleasant ruddy appearance that pleases the eye.

11. Let the cake stand for 5 minutes directly in the pan. Then disconnect its clamp and remove the form. Transfer the pie to a plate.

In principle, in this form you can eat it immediately, without even waiting for it to cool down. But today I’m preparing it for you, dear readers. That's why I wanted to decorate it. At least in the simplest way.

12. I had two bags of ready-made vanilla frosting and also walnuts. I crushed about a handful of nuts with a rolling pin, and mixed the glaze with milk.

And when the cake cooled slightly, I poured all the prepared glaze onto its surface. And sprinkled nuts on top.

Now you can taste the manna. It is still slightly warm, and that makes it even tastier. We cut it into pieces and enjoy the taste. I'll try to describe how it turned out.

Firstly, it rose perfectly and has many holes, or air sinuses, inside. Secondly, thanks to these sinuses, the sugar from the glaze penetrated to the very bottom, and thanks to this, the cake turned out to be simply incredibly juicy. It was as if it had been soaked in some kind of jam or syrup.

And so, we got a fluffy, airy, juicy, crumbly dessert according to this recipe. I highly recommend making one for you too. He's great! Cook it at least once, and then you will cook it always. I can’t say “only his”, because all the recipes that I am sharing with you today are also simply incredibly delicious!

Delicious airy semolina pie with blueberries

And according to that recipe, I decided to make manna with blueberries. But this is not dogma. You can cook with any berry and any fruit. It turns out very tasty to cook it this way with apples and cinnamon. You can replicate this by adding chopped apples instead of blueberries. You'll get a new taste and a new dessert!

There is only one recipe, and each time adding a new fruit or berry ingredient, you will get new delicious baked goods!

We will need:

  • kefir – 1 glass
  • semolina – 1 glass
  • flour – 1 cup
  • sugar – 1 glass
  • egg – 2 pcs
  • baking powder – 1 heaped teaspoon
  • salt - a pinch
  • any frozen or fresh berries (I used blueberries) - 1 cup
  • butter - for greasing

Preparation:

This recipe is very similar to the first one. Therefore, in order not to delay your time with a detailed description, I will touch on only the main points in this chapter. And if you decide to cook according to it, then see all the nuances in the first recipe.

1. Break the eggs into a bowl. Add sugar and salt and mix everything using a whisk or mixer. It is desirable that the sugar dissolves completely and the mass becomes lighter.

2. Add kefir, stir. Then add baking powder. Beat with a mixer until bubbles appear.

3. It's time to add semolina. Pour it into the mixture, stir and let stand for 5 minutes.

4. Then sift the flour directly into the mixing bowl. This must be done to saturate it with oxygen and to further raise the dough.

Stir again until the lumps disappear. Leave to infuse for 30 minutes.

5. While the dough is infusing, prepare the mold, namely, grease it with butter. You can also put the oven on to warm up. We will need a temperature of 180 degrees.

6. After 30 minutes, stir the thick mixture again with a spoon and add the berries. In summer it can be any fresh berries or fruits. But it's winter now and I have frozen blueberries. So we will use it as an additive.

I don’t defrost it on purpose so as not to color the dough. If the berry melts, the dough will turn a not very pleasant purple color. But I want it to have a familiar look. That's why I add berries straight from the freezer. Then mix the dough and immediately pour into the mold.

7. And without further delay, put it in a preheated oven. Within 20 minutes the dough will have time to rise without having time to color. And only by that time the berries will finally warm up, but there will be nowhere for them to burst. Therefore, they will remain intact, and as if they had just been brought from the forest.

During the remaining 15 minutes of baking, they will warm up and the cake will have a general flavor component. That is, the total baking time will be 35 minutes. Well maybe 40.

8. After this time, take out the cake and test its readiness with a toothpick, piercing it in the thickest place, that is, in the center. If we take out a toothpick and there is no batter left on it, then our pie is ready. It can be taken out completely.

9. Let it stand for 5 - 7 minutes. Then turn it over onto a cutting board, and then turn it over again onto a plate.

You can decorate it to your liking, or you can serve it just like that. In my opinion, he is already handsome.

The cut shows that the dough is not colored, it is light and eye-catching. The berries burst, but only slightly. This means they are fully warmed up and ready to be tasted. Along with the pie, of course.

10. Cut the dessert into pieces. We see that it has risen well and looks lush. The taste turns out to be very pleasant, slightly crumbly, with a pleasant light sourness.

I don’t want to boast, because it’s immodest, but the pie turned out very tasty! The thing is that I really love . And I have them on my blog (two links, because there are two different recipes). So I decided to combine my two favorite methods.

And the result turned out just great! I hope that you too will be able to appreciate it.

An original recipe for incredibly fluffy “wet” manna

And this recipe will most likely not leave anyone indifferent. And it’s possible that you haven’t even heard of this. This is a recipe for “wet” manna. Ask why “wet”? Yes, because there is a secret in the recipe.

And I will share it today. And I will not only write how to cook according to it, but I will also show how to do it in a video that was filmed specifically during the preparation of this article.

We will need:

  • kefir – 1 glass
  • cream – 1 glass
  • semolina – 1 glass
  • flour – 1 cup
  • sugar – 1 glass
  • egg – 2 pcs
  • butter – 50 g
  • vanilla sugar – 0.5 – 1 sachet
  • baking powder for dough – 1 teaspoon
  • salt – 0.5 teaspoon

For decoration we will need 3 - 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar.

Preparation:

1. Sift flour into a bowl. Add salt and baking powder to it. Both can also be sifted if desired. Add the prepared cereal here and mix. That is, in one bowl we mixed all the bulk ingredients.

2. Pour kefir here. It is better to take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is not very cold. Room temperature will be ideal for it. Set the resulting mixture aside and proceed to the next stage of preparation.

Mix the mass. It will turn out thick and viscous, with a rather uneven structure. But for now we’ll leave it as it is.

3. Break the eggs into a separate bowl. It is also better to take them out of the refrigerator in advance.

Add regular and vanilla sugar to them. Instead of vanilla sugar, you can simply add a pinch of vanillin. In this case, the finished pie will be less sweet.

Although, if you have a sweet tooth, then you can add a whole bag. The baked goods will be sweeter and have a stronger aroma.

4. To prevent sugar from scattering all over the table, first mix the mass with a spoon or spatula, and then connect the mixer or whisk to work. We need a homogeneous sweet egg mixture that has turned white from beating and all the sugar crystals have dissolved in it.

5. Add it to the mixture, which has been set aside for a while.

Mix both masses with a mixer until you obtain a homogeneous, smooth and fairly fluffy mixture without lumps.

6. Add melted butter and mix again. This time until it is completely beaten into the mixture, there should be no oily circles left.

Reserve about a teaspoon of oil to grease the pan.

7. The resulting test must be given time to brew. It will be enough for him to stand for 15 - 20 minutes. During this time, the cereal will swell, and the same will happen with the flour. The dough will become more homogeneous and flexible and bake better.

8. Grease the mold with the reserved butter and pour the dough into it.

9. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until done. Depending on the properties of the oven, this will take approximately 40 minutes. It took me exactly that long.

After this time, take out the cake and check it with a toothpick to see if it is ready. If you pierce it in the center and the toothpick remains dry, then it’s time to finally take it out.

10. But we still have cream left, and we haven’t forgotten about it. Their turn has come. They need to be poured directly on top of the golden brown crust of the pie. But as we see, the liquid is not retained. It is immediately absorbed and soon not a single drop remains on the surface.

11. After this “alchemical” procedure, let the cake stand and rest for 10 minutes right in the mold. Then we turn it over onto a wooden board.

Remove the pan and turn it over onto a large flat plate and let it cool a little more.

As you can see in the photo, the cake turned out very fluffy and beautiful. I already want to try it as soon as possible.

12. But I also wanted to decorate it so that I could serve it for evening tea in all its glory. And as a decoration I prepared powdered sugar. So I just sprinkle it on a slightly cooled surface and go put the kettle on. It's time to brew some tea and invite your family for an evening tea party.

This is how our dessert turned out in cross section. As you can see, it is very tall, airy and curvy. We always dream of getting all these qualities in any baked goods. And this recipe did not let us down.

Let's try! The taste of the dessert is delicate, slightly velvety and creamy. And inside the dough itself is slightly moist, that is, juicy. The cream gave him such an amazing effect. It would seem such a simple manipulation, but what an interesting flavor combination it turned out to be.

I really wanted to decorate it, so I sprinkled it with powdered sugar. And for me it turned out a little sweeter than I would like. I don't really like sweets. Therefore, if you have a sweet tooth, you can sprinkle it. And if not, then come up with another decoration, or don’t decorate at all.

Video on how to make a lush and delicious homemade pie

And here is the promised video. Here the entire cooking process is not only told, but also shown. Thanks to this, it will be very easy to cook according to it, even for someone who has never prepared such baking before, or anything at all.

Let me remind you that this pie is called “Wet”. And it got such an interesting name because after it is baked it is filled with cream. By the way, you can fill it not only with them. Milk is also excellent for these purposes. At the same time, its fat content is much lower than that of cream. This means you can remove extra calories.

Well, how do you like the recipe?! Did you like it? He's really good. And making a pie using it is quite easy and simple. And I think that it will be useful to every housewife. And if you liked it, then like and subscribe to our channel. While he is still very young, this recipe is only the fourth. But we promise that there will be a lot of interesting and tasty things on it.

Crumbly kefir pie with apples, without eggs and flour

And according to this recipe you can make a pie without eggs and without flour. Yes Yes exactly. Of course, it won’t turn out as fluffy and airy as the previous ones, but its taste will be simply magnificent. But it will be very crumbly and juicy.

We will need:

  • kefir – 500 ml
  • semolina – 2 cups (400 g)
  • sugar – 160 g (200 g glass)
  • vanilla sugar – 25 g (1 sachet)
  • butter – 100 g
  • baking powder for dough – 1 teaspoon (can be heaped)
  • salt - a pinch
  • apples – 2 pcs.
  • powdered sugar – 2 tbsp. spoons (for sprinkling)

Preparation:

1. Pour kefir into a bowl convenient for kneading dough. You can take it with any fat content. I didn't have enough kefir today, so I added about half a glass of sour cream. So that in total I get two 250 gram glasses.

Keep this in mind, you can add a little fermented milk, drinking yogurt, sour cream, and even milk. But in the latter case, you will need to add a little semolina to achieve the desired dough consistency.

2. Pour the cereal into a bowl. It can be measured using glasses of the same volume as kefir was measured. Mix the mixture until smooth. You can simply stir with a spoon.

We don't have eggs, so we don't need to beat anything. You can just use a spoon.

Leave the mixture to sit for 30 minutes. The cereal should swell. In this case, it will not be felt, and it will be easier for the dough to rise.

3. After 30 minutes, add salt, vanilla and sugar, as well as baking powder. Please note that we take not a 250 gram glass of sugar, but a 200 gram glass. We also use vanilla sugar, and its weight is 25 grams. Therefore, if you have a 250 ml measuring cup, then first pour vanilla sugar into it, and then add regular sugar. It will turn out complete.

4. Melt the butter. This can be done in a water bath. It is not recommended to do this in the microwave. Although sometimes, of course, you use it.

It is better to use oil with 82.5% fat content. This is a good quality product and healthier than 72% which uses trans fats.

5. Add oil to the resulting mixture and stir until color and consistency are uniform. Leave a little oil to grease the pan.

6. Grease the mold and pour the resulting mixture into it.

7. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices. Place them on the surface in any order. There is a method in which at first only part of the dough is poured into the mold. Then the apples are laid out and filled with the remaining dough.

But I wanted to make the pie beautiful, so I chose the first option.

8. My oven is already preheated to 180 degrees. Place the pan in it and bake for 35 - 40 minutes until the top of the pie is golden brown and the dough inside is cooked through. You can check readiness with a toothpick.

9. Take out the baked goods and let them stand for a while right in the pan. 5 - 7 minutes will be enough. Then take out the pie and place it on a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can eat it straight hot, or cooled down if necessary.

In our country, such manna is eaten in 10 minutes, while the tea in the glass has not completely cooled down.

And this happens every time I cook it. The last time I cooked it was today. So the recipe is piping hot. The pie is no longer there, but its aroma is still preserved in the house. By the way, its aroma is very pleasant. Only homemade baked goods with apples can smell like this.

The taste of the pie is very delicate, creamy, with a slight sourness. But it depends on the type of apple. I baked it with small-sized Semerenko apples. The apples themselves are sweet and sour and very crumbly.

The pie turned out just as crumbly. It is very difficult to describe this or that taste in words. Therefore, I advise you to prepare such manna, and be sure to try it. I think that this recipe will not leave you indifferent.

Airy manna with curd filling in a slow cooker

Everyone's favorite homemade pie can also be prepared with curd filling. Many people love this product and enjoy baking numerous delicious pastries with it. And we have baked it more than once, for example. And this recipe can easily be considered one of them.

For a change, I’ll tell you how you can prepare such a dessert in a slow cooker. But it can also be cooked in the oven. The principles of preparation are fully described in previous recipes. The composition of the ingredients and the sequence of actions can be found here.

We will need:

  • semolina – 2 cups (250 ml) 400 g
  • kefir – 1 glass
  • sugar – 1 glass
  • flour – 50 g
  • eggs – 3 pcs.
  • butter – 50 g
  • baking powder for dough – 1 heaped teaspoon (10 g)
  • salt - a pinch
  • vanillin on the tip of a knife

You can use vanilla sugar instead of vanillin. In this case, pour it into the glass first, and then add the regular one. The total volume should be 250 ml, that is, a glass.

For the curd filling:

  • cottage cheese – 250 gr
  • egg – 2 pcs
  • sugar – 80 gr

Preparation:

1. We will knead the dough in a deep bowl that is convenient for this purpose. Break eggs into it.

2. Add granulated sugar. Beat with a mixer. The mass should slightly increase in volume, turn white, and all sugar crystals should dissolve. To do this, the mass must be beaten for at least 3 minutes.

3. Pour in kefir and mix again. Then add soft butter. In order for it to become soft, it must be removed from the refrigerator in advance. Mix again with a mixer until smooth.

4. Add flour, baking powder and flour sifted through a sieve. Don’t be lazy and be sure to sift it. This will help the cake rise better.

Mix the mixture thoroughly with a mixer and let stand for 20 minutes so that all the ingredients disperse and the semolina swells.

5. Prepare the filling. To do this, put all the ingredients intended for it in a separate bowl and puree until smooth using an immersion blender.

6. Grease the multicooker bowl with butter. Cut a circle of baking paper to fit the bottom and place it on the bottom. Place half of the dough into the bowl. After standing, it became quite thick, which is good, it means the filling will remain in the middle.

7. Pour out all the filling at once. And then lay out the remaining dough. It’s good if the filling is completely covered.

8. When baking in the “Redmond” multicooker, set the “Multicook” mode. And bake at 125 degrees for 1 hour. If you have a multicooker of another brand, then bake in it according to the instructions.

9. Take out the finished manna by turning the multicooker bowl over. Let cool slightly. Then place on a plate and serve.

If desired, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

Needless to say, even such a simple-looking pie is so tasty that it is simply eaten in one sitting. It turns out to be quite tall and fluffy, as well as juicy and crumbly. It is very pleasant to eat, as all the ingredients are combined into one whole. In general, this dessert is well worth paying attention to and preparing for your family.

If you cook this recipe in the oven, the baking time will be 30 - 40 minutes, at a temperature of 180 degrees.

This is such a delicious and beautiful selection that we have for you today. We cooked all the pies with semolina and kefir. And none of them let us down. Even those that we prepared without flour or eggs at all.

In principle, these are almost all the variations of manna known to me. You can, of course, add certain additional ingredients to the dough and thereby obtain other flavors. But all the most basic recipes are given here. That is, based on them, you can simply fantasize.

I hope that the recipes will be useful for you, and most importantly, necessary. And that you will definitely prepare delicious desserts using them. It is important that all the options are proven, and if you follow the recipe step by step, then you will certainly succeed!
