Local wastewater treatment plant lokos

A number of septic tanks that have conceptually new solutions in their device include septic tanks of the LokOS trademark. These stations are classified as local treatment facilities for deep cleaning of domestic wastewater.

Their design is such that it allows you to clean wastewater that meets all the requirements of sanitary and environmental standards.

What exactly is their originality, optimality and operational features, you can find out in more detail by examining the modifications of LokOS septic tanks, their specifications, the principle of operation of the structure, as well as prices and features of the installation conditions.

The name of the septic tanks LokOS was chosen quite well. This abbreviation covers the standard definition of the products of treatment facilities that the company produces: Lok - local, O - treatment, C - facilities.

Modifications of LokOS septic tanks include a number of treatment structures, which can be conditionally divided into two groups or even series:

  • a series of models of septic tanks LokOS Light;
  • lokOS Standard series.

Septic tanks of the LokOS Light series are made of polymer materials, durable in wear resistance. Septic tanks of this series are made of sheet materials, interconnected welded seams high-tech method of extrusion welding.

The end parts of the septic tanks are solid, and are also made of durable plastic. The material of the polymers used in the production of septic tanks of the Light series is low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE).

It is he who today is recognized as the most high-strength and resistant material that can withstand mechanical stress and the effects of aggressive media. The total service life of HDPE products is more than 50 years, which indicates high strength indicators and a treatment facility as well.

Based on the tabular data, you can see the high performance of models that are able to serve families with the most likely big amount residents permanently residing in the house.

So, for example, septic tanks, which have a capacity of 0.2 to 1 m3, freely serve autonomous sewerage systems in those houses or dachas where 1 to 5-6 people live permanently.

Important! And if the sewage system is used seasonally, then the terms of filling the tanks increase, but, unfortunately, the possible number of people served does not increase. This moment depends entirely on the ability of the septic tank design to accept salvo waste discharges.

Therefore, in order not to overload the septic tank and not bring the sewer system to flooding, despite the seasonal or constant use of the septic tank, it is best to adhere to the manufacturer's recommended technical characteristics.

Another completely in design and characteristics are septic tanks of the LokOS Standard series. Why are they different from Light?

First of all, it should be said that these models are adapted to work exclusively in clayey or heaving soils. After all, the features of such soils do not allow most septic tanks to perform their functions normally.

So, for example, in clay soils it is extremely difficult to pump purified water into the soil because the nature of the soil is such that it simply does not absorb water.

Therefore, here it is necessary either to install additional tanks for the accumulation of purified water, or to equip special filtration fields with the subsequent removal of effluents into ravines. Reservoirs or simply in those places of the soil where water can somehow be absorbed.

It is for models of septic tanks of the Standard series of the LokOS trademark level groundwater does not play any role because such sewage treatment plant fully adapted to work in the vicinity of groundwater.

The body of such septic tanks is made of low pressure polyethylene reinforced with a spiral pipe, which is hollow inside. The wall thickness of the housing is therefore 19 mm.

Why was this necessary? A hollow pipe is needed so that the weight of the entire structure is not so large that the installation and installation of a septic tank is not difficult.

And the very idea of \u200b\u200breinforcement was embodied in the septic tank in order to create even more strength for the body of the treatment plant's tanks. It is the spiral structure that makes the entire structure of the system very stable and reliable.

In addition to septic tanks for autonomous sewerage systems serving private houses, there are also LokOS septic tanks serving entire villages.

These are such treatment plants, which consist of several elongated septic tanks, which are produced using the same technology as septic tanks of the Light and Standard series. village value, of course, will differ from the maintenance of a private septic tank.

Important! This difference consists, first of all, in the fact that a private-type septic tank needs less supervision than a settlement treatment plant.

Such local treatment facilities as LokOS septic tanks of any series are capable of treating large volumes of wastewater that are discharged in one gulp.

They are not affected by the mechanical stress from the blows of the discharged drains because they internal organization equipped with special flow damping devices.

Cleaning method sewer installations purely biological is used, and therefore such structures do not cause any harm to the environment and human health at all.

The same can be said about the treated effluents that septic tanks release into the ground - they are completely safe for the environment. All Lokos treatment plants purify wastewater up to 98%, which is considered the highest degree of sewage water purification.

What is the principle of local sewerage

After immersion in a septic tank pit, it must be sprinkled on all sides with a mixture of dry sand and cement. This is done so that the structure moves less in the soil composition.

Important! Any also implies sprinkling of the outer walls of the structure. When sprinkling and filling with soil, the septic tank should be gradually filled with water in order to equalize the pressure inside the septic tank and the pressure of the soil.

The level of filling the septic tanks with water should be one third higher than the sprinkling level. The water will then quickly leave the septic tank, but you will not allow any violations in the integrity of the entire structure due to the equalized pressure.

Layer-by-layer sprinkling of sand with cement, and then backfilling with earth from above, must be compacted slightly so that the earth does not sink near the walls of the structure later.

LokOS septic tanks prices

By and large, LokOS deep biological treatment stations are not considered budgetary options in terms of cost, especially for those models that were created specifically for installation in complex types of soil.

Important! In addition, one should not forget that LokOS septic tanks are volatile, although they require a lot of electricity consumption, but still financial costs will go to the operation of the septic tank.

And, nevertheless, most buyers prefer to purchase LokOS septic tanks, especially since the manufacturer generously endows them with its bonuses, such as a 10-year guarantee for any item from the model range.

Models of the largest volumes and high performance, of course, will cost more, but not as much as observed in the cost difference of septic tanks from other manufacturers.

Principles of operation and advantages of Local treatment facilities LokOS

LokOS has developed a special treatment technology, the principle of which is similar to the operation of urban treatment facilities, only on a domestic scale. Sewage waste is first collected in the receiving chamber (it is also a septic tank or septic tank) in the daily volume of discharge. Here is the stage of fermentation and settling, so that the next stage - biological treatment - is as efficient as possible.

Today, biological treatment is commonly understood as the process of waste recycling by means of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, which do an excellent job of removing phosphorus and organic nitrogen compounds. This method allows you to achieve a high level of wastewater treatment - about 95%, which is a lot! A standard country septic tank will never give more than 65% purification.

At LokOS, biological treatment is carried out in three stages:

1. Bioreactor of anaerobic process. In it, complex organic compounds are converted into simple ones. This is done by special anaerobic bacteria, which do not require oxygen from the air for life. In order for the anaerobic process to proceed as efficiently as possible in the reactor vessel, artificial algae “ruffs” are placed in it, and bacteria are fixed on them.

2. Aerotank. In it, impurities are oxidized, after which the activated sludge absorbs them. This silt turns out naturally from the bacteria in the sewer, which move when large volumes of air are forced. Thanks to this feature, no artificial additives are needed in LokOS.

3. Biological treatment. The need for it arises if the electricity is turned off or a salvo discharge has occurred. In this case, in the biofilter of the aerobic stage, the wastewater undergoes additional processing. The volume of the biofilter is almost equal to the volume of the LokOS receiving chamber. It is 50% filled with purified water in the normal mode, and it is displaced during salvo emissions. If the electricity is off, LokOS operates in emergency mode. The volume of wastewater is reduced (without electricity, the pump also does not supply water), and the filter does a good job of cleaning it. Anaerobic bacteria enter the biofilter when oxygen is deficient, that is, if the air supply is minimal. They are able to maintain functionality for up to 5-7 days when the air supply is completely shut off.

As it becomes clear from the description of the principle of operation of "LokOS", such an installation of local sewerage of private households does not require additional equipment additional treatment and filtration fields.

LokOS has certain advantages in comparison with local treatment plants of other designs:

1. Increased volume of the receiving chamber, where waste water immediately gets. Thanks to this, the wastewater is clarified more efficiently, the amount of large precipitation is significantly reduced.

2. Several operating modes - the installation works stably and when permanent residence people, and for seasonal or temporary residence.

3. Permanent maintenance by a specialist is not required. The arrival of a sewage truck is required once a year.

4. Works silently.

5. Does not emit a smell.

You can operate "LokOS" in any weather conditions and in any region of our country. The installation does not require continuous flow of waste water. It can be easily mounted on a site where it will only be located for a month or two a year. "LokOS" is unpretentious in maintenance, does without the participation of a specialist, and has a minimum of restrictions during operation. It is recommended to pump out non-decomposing sludge from the septic tank once a year with a sewage machine.

Before any owner of suburban real estate, sooner or later, the question arises about the arrangement of the sewer system. In most cases, our compatriots prefer multi-chamber containers equipped with aerators, airlifts and inert loading. One of these options for solving this issue is the installation of a septic tank "Lokos".

Manufacturer of septic tanks "Lokos"

The manufacturer of septic tanks under the Lokos trademark is a group of companies with the consonant name LOCAS, which has been designing and manufacturing these treatment facilities since 2009.

Device and principle of operation

Lokos treatment plants operate according to the following principle:

  • cesspool wastewater enters the receiving chamber, where, during settling, the heavier fractions precipitate, and the lighter ones form a fatty film on the surface, while the clarified liquid is poured into the next section for subsequent cleaning stages;
  • in the chamber of the anaerobic bioreactor, the effluents are purified due to the vital activity of a colony of microorganisms living on a ruff load;
  • the most complete purification is provided by two aeration tanks equipped with aerators, loading and microorganisms, for which ideal conditions of existence are created;
  • in the last chamber, thin suspensions settle, after which the liquid is discharged into the ground or reservoir.

Septic tank "Lokos" belongs to the volatile type of equipment. When the power supply is cut off, Lokos begins to function as a conventional sump, while the purification efficiency is reduced to 60 percent. In this mode, it is recommended to use a septic tank for no more than five days, otherwise unpleasant odors from the septic tank may appear.

Reviews: advantages and disadvantages

To the positive aspects of using the septic tank "Lokos", the owners of this type of installations include:

  • high degree of purification;
  • easy installation;
  • combination of price and quality;
  • low power consumption.

Thus, the treatment facilities "Lokos" are a good option for arranging sewage in country house, attractive to users not only by its functionality, but also by the manufacturer's pricing policy.

Houses built on a site remote from civilization require autonomous life support devices. This applies to heating, water supply, gasification and of course sewerage. Only in the presence of all these components is a comfortable year-round residence in a country house.

There are many modern septic tanks designed for wastewater treatment. The septic tank LokOS belongs to this large family, which fully meets all modern requirements for treatment facilities. The distinctive features of a septic tank are multiple stages of clarification. Moreover, their constructive implementation is one of the most simplified. The volume of the treatment plant is three times the mass of the incoming waste water, which guarantees the cleanliness of the surrounding area. In addition, LOS LokOS comply with all sanitary and hygienic standards prescribed in Russian legislation.

Benefits autonomous sewerage LokOS:

Speaking about the advantages of LokOS, we can also say about the disadvantage. It is expressed in the presence of an unpleasant odor from the septic tank, albeit subtle. In addition, despite the manufacturer's statement that the sludge can be pumped out using a drainage pump directly to the personal plot, they are not entirely justified. Rotten sludge, has an unpleasant odor and is toxic. Therefore, at least twice a year, you will need to call the sewer truck. But this is the only drawback of LOS LokOS.
