The main character, being a prisoner, escapes punishment due to an attack on the city by the bloodthirsty dragon Alduin. Soon escaping from a seemingly inevitable execution, the main character learns that he is the very “dragonborn” who, according to a great legend, was supposed to appear and save the province of Skyrim from the attack of dragons. So, possessing the gift of “voice” and special skills, which he will develop during the course of the storyline, the player will have to fight with winged monsters covered with scales and prevent the end of the world.
The world of Skyrim contains a great variety of different items. For example, one of the most unusual items is the “soul stone,” designed to absorb the souls of dead creatures. However, this is not their main advantage, since they are most often used to recharge items (weapons, armor, etc.) and to enchant many items.
“Soul stones” come in two types: light and black. The light ones absorb the souls of all creatures except people, and the black ones mainly use human souls to absorb them.
In addition, their power also depends on the size of the stones - large ones will be able to absorb the soul of the most powerful creature, as well as practically fully charge the selected item. As for small and tiny stones, they are used only for small recharges and weak creatures.
How to fill a black soul stone in Skyrim?
The black soul stone is designed to absorb black souls - these include the souls of all humanoids. To imprison them in stone, the main character must have a soul capture spell, which can be purchased from a powerful magician in a location called Whiterun. Bugs
- Sometimes, by throwing a stone out of your inventory, you can clear it of a filled soul without destroying it. This allows you to get rid of an unwanted soul (such as a small soul in a Great Stone) without losing the stone itself.
- Filled stones can lose souls when they are placed in containers (such as nightstands), taken from the container, and put back into inventory. This happens if you already have empty soul stones of the same size and value. Apparently this is some kind of bug where the stones get "confused" with each other (happens with Regular, Small and Tiny soul gems). It is recommended to save the game before moving empty and filled stones from your inventory. Losing filled soul gems can be annoying, so you can use your companion for this problem. For example, if you have a list of empty and full stones and want to put them into packs without losing souls; just give them to your companion and take them back if necessary. Thus, souls from stones should not disappear.
- Solution: If you put soul stones in a container, you can retrieve them intact by finding a filled stone of the same type (or through the console) and removing the problematic stones, having the found one in your inventory. Do NOT use a rock that you have already put in a container, it won't work for some reason. Also, this does NOT work if there are less than 6 stones in the pack, you can only return 1 full soul stone. Meeting
