The material base of the resource center consists of a theoretical training room equipped with display cases and computer equipment, and three sections of training workshops: manual and semi-automatic welding; gas and argon-arc welding. The resource center of the Taganrog Mechanical College is a regional support platform for the study of new pedagogical technologies, in particular, modular ones for training in the profession “Welder”.
Provides its own base for industrial training of students of secondary vocational and higher education institutions, consulting, methodological services to the teaching staff of educational institutions. Training of engineering and pedagogical workers of specialized institutions of NPOs of the Rostov region and Krasnodar region is being carried out.

Historical information and modern achievements
In 1939, a mechanical technical school appeared in Taganrog. It was opened at the local combine plant. The first enrollment of students was carried out for the only specialty - "cold metal working". Unfortunately, the educational institution did not work for a long time. Its activity was terminated due to the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War. In 1943, in rather difficult conditions, the work of the technical school was nevertheless restored.
In 1945, the development of the educational organization was started, because a new specialty was opened. In subsequent years, the technical school has repeatedly expanded the list of offered professions. Today the educational institution is already a college. He has trained over 13 thousand specialists in various fields. In the past, graduates got a job at a combine plant. Today they are employed in various enterprises, in the organization of the city and the Rostov region. Some leave for more distant parts of our country. Among the graduates there are those who work in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

Material and technical base
The Taganrog Mechanical College has 2 educational buildings. One building is located at 43 Instrumentalnaya Street. Initial vocational education

The term of study for technical specialties on a full-time basis is 3 years and 10 months. In the latter direction, related to commodity science, they study for 2 years and 10 months. Graduates of 11 grades can choose the correspondence course, but there are no budget places on it. It offers some programs from the listed specialties ("commodity science and examination of the quality of consumer goods", "tractor and automotive"), as well as completely different ("economics and accounting", "programming in computer systems", "law enforcement"). The term of study in all areas of the correspondence course is 2 years and 10 months.
Special specialties: "fire safety" and "protection in emergency situations"
Among the programs of secondary vocational education, 2 specialties are special - these are "protection in emergencies" and "fire safety". Their peculiarity lies in the presence of entrance tests. There are no exams in other areas of preparation.
On the specialties "fire safety" and "protection in emergencies" an entrance test in physical education is carried out. It consists of several exercises:
- pull-ups on a high bar (for boys) or pull-ups on a low bar (for girls);
- running 100 meters;
- running for 1 km;
- standing long jump.
Specialty related to commodity science
The name of the mechanical college of the city of Taganrog says a lot. It testifies to the profile of the educational institution, to the fact that the secondary school is focused on the production of technicians. However, there are also such areas of training that do not belong to the profile of the college. In the full-time department, this specialty is "commodity science and examination of the quality of consumer goods." On it, students prepare for work as commodity experts.

1947 year
The college, at that time the Kaliningrad Mechanical Technical School, was organized by order of the Minister of Armaments of the USSR dated March 15, 1947 on the basis of a vocational school in Kaliningrad on the initiative of the legendary General Designer of rocket and space technology S.P. Korolyov.
The main task of the technical school during this period is to train mid-level specialists for the enterprises of the rocket and space complex.
Head of the Management Training Department, RSC Energia
E. A. Melnikov became the first director of the technical school. He ran the educational institution from 1947 to 1952.
The staff of teachers was recruited from among the engineers of the city's enterprises, teachers of the Crafts School No. 3 and teachers of secondary schools. A.N. Pyankov, who worked as deputy director of the Order of the Red Star of the vocational school (RU) No. 3, Honored Teacher of the USSR, was appointed head of the educational unit of the technical school. He devoted more than 50 years of his life to the education and training of young people.
Study groups were formed from students graduating from the vocational school №3, the best workers of the enterprise, having an education of seven classes. Special groups were recruited from foremen, shop managers and services of experienced production workers.

The Kaliningrad Mechanical Technical School becomes a branch of the Moscow Military Mechanical Technical School. Special subjects are carried out by the leading specialists of the city's enterprises.

Was born in 1953. in the city of Vyazma, Smolensk region. In 1976 he graduated from the Kazan Aviation Institute named. A.N. Tupolev. He worked at the Russian Rocket Center. V.P. Makeeva as a designer, shop manager, deputy director of the plant. Since 1991 he has been working in the field of education as a director of a technical school, director of a university branch. In 2000 he defended his Ph.D. thesis and received the degree of candidate of economic sciences. In 2009, he was awarded the title of Honorary Worker of the STR.

In the same year, the college receives a Certificate of certification of an educational institution (reg. No. 114 dated June 29, 2009), certifying that the level and quality of training, retraining and advanced training of specialists meets the requirements for inclusion of an educational institution in the register of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and begins work with the State Research and Testing Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the certification of quality systems for educational services of the college for training specialists in the Russian military-industrial complex.
The college begins to cooperate with the International Association of Participants in Space Activities, the Russian Federation of Cosmonautics, the Baikonur Cosmodrome, as well as with the Minor Academy of Sciences in Obninsk.
The College has a Student Design Bureau. Distance learning and international cooperation are intensively developing.
In the same year, the Russian-British branch of the international faculty was opened.
In order to train qualified specialists, the college implements the concept of continuing education "School - College - Enterprise - University". For this, cooperation is supported both with the city's enterprises and with leading aerospace and financial-industrial universities in Russia and abroad.

In accordance with the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2011 No. 2413-r "On the transfer of federal state educational institutions of secondary vocational education to the jurisdiction of the subjects of the Russian Federation" FSBOU SPO "Korolevsky College of Space Engineering and Technology" was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region.

In accordance with the decree of the Government of the Moscow region of 04.04.2012. No. 427/12 "On the ownership of the Moscow region of federal state educational institutions of secondary vocational education" FSBEI SPO "Korolevsky College of Space Engineering and Technology" was transferred to the departmental subordination of the Ministry of Finance of the Moscow Region.
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Moscow region of 11.07.2012 No. 906/24 "On the reorganization of state educational institutions of higher and secondary vocational education of the Moscow region" the state budgetary educational institution of secondary vocational education of the Moscow region GBOU SPO MO "Korolevsky College of Space Engineering and Technology" was reorganized in the form of joining the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education of the Moscow Region "Financial and Technological Academy".
