Councils for the design of a portfolio. How to create a competent designer portfolio? Competent portfolio

"Please attach a portfolio to your resume" - this phrase is increasingly common in vacancy announcements. How to prepare a portfolio? And do you really need to do this? For a beautiful presentation of your accomplishments, read Superjob tips.

Touches for the portrait of the applicant
Translated from the Italian portfolio, this is just a "portfolio with documents", but, as you know, HRs understand this word as a "list of completed work", allowing you to get an idea of the applicant as a specialist. And this is not necessarily a folder with photographs, sketches or newspaper clippings, it can be a presentation and a personal website of the candidate. Photos, publications, as well as video and audio clips - all this will add the necessary finishing touches to your portrait. Sometimes it is enough just to attach a few links to Internet resources with your work to your resume.

Do you need it?
Who needs a portfolio? For successful employment, it is used primarily by people of creative professions - designers of all specializations, journalists, architects, photo models, etc. However, today this tool is becoming more and more popular: often the portfolio is made up of teachers, PR-managers, programmers - that is, those who whose work achievements can be at least partially represented visually.

Do you need to design a portfolio for you? Probably yes if:
- you have a creative job;
- in the process of your work, every time you create something fundamentally new (drawings, design projects, articles, codes, images for photography);
- your work is of a project nature;
- the employer asks to provide a portfolio.
But for those whose work is associated with strict adherence to instructions, a portfolio is usually not required. Accountants, secretaries, HR specialists, system administrators, waiters, salespeople successfully get a job of their dreams and without a portfolio, with only one resume.

List of achievements
Superjob allows you to attach a portfolio to your resume. Use it - it will be convenient for the employer to see both your resume and your work at once.

It is customary to compose a portfolio from works of different genres, different styles and directions - thus you can demonstrate the variety of tasks that you had to face. That is, if you are a photographer, include in the selection of photographs images of all genres in which you shoot, and if you are a journalist, provide different types of texts, etc.

However, there are exceptions to this rule. If, for example, you are applying for the position of a political columnist in a major publication, you should not include in your portfolio your fashion notes and articles on the rules for growing tomatoes in your summer cottage, even if they are written completely brilliantly.

A portfolio is akin to the "Achievements" section of a resume - it is customary here to visualize what you have reported in your CV. Therefore, to be included in the portfolio, you need to choose your best works. You should not deliberately reduce the level of work for fears that the employer will subsequently always expect masterpieces from you. The employer understands perfectly well that a portfolio is an exhibition of your achievements, and not a report from your daily creative searches.

In what order should you present your work? It is possible by chronology - in this case, the recruiter will see all the stages of your development as a specialist. Or you can - by genre, style or direction: in this case, it makes sense to place the best works at the beginning and at the end of the "folder" - taking into account the psychology of perception. How best is up to you.

What you definitely shouldn't be in your portfolio is your family photos. Surprisingly, according to recruiters, this recommendation is not in vain. Meanwhile, a photo with the caption "I am with the cat Barsik at the dacha" is unlikely to contribute to a career.

Should you print?
Is it worth printing a portfolio or is it enough to provide it electronically? There is no single answer to this question. If you have doubts about the convenience of an electronic portfolio form for a specific employer, then it is better to play it safe and provide a printed version - successful projects often only benefit from high-quality printing.

Superjob wishes you a bright portfolio and brilliant employment!

Portfolio technology is a leading indicator of a holistic system for assessing the quality of education

    Krasnoperova Tatiana Vadimovna, deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work

Sections: School administration, Extracurricular work, General pedagogical technologies, Cool leadership, Working with parents

The problem of assessing the quality of education is today in the area of increased attention of the entire Russian public, the state as a whole and, of course, the family. The level of understanding of the assessment of the quality of education for each of them has a versatile orientation, which does not allow making an unambiguous decision. According to M.M. Potashnik the quality of education (CO) there is a ratio of goal and result, as a measure of achieving goals, given that goals (results) are set only operationally,and therefore extremely specific and predicted in the area of potential development of the student.

In order for the goal to be directed at a specific subject (student, teacher), and the results turned into an assessment of their personal achievements, it is required to create an integral system of organization and management of the educational process. In this case, the used concept "quality of education" will mean the quality of the educational process, expressed in its results.

Where can these results be seen? How should they be presented so that the path of moving up the ladder of personal growth of all subjects of education becomes clear and motivates others to achieve even better results in educational and professional activities?

Recently, there have been cardinal shifts in emphasis in the criteria for the quality of education. Thus, quantitative and knowledge indicators acquire a competence orientation. In this case, it becomes necessary to create a special educational environment in which it will be possible to motivate subjects to master the relevant competencies, as well as create conditions for activities that contribute to the formation and development of these competencies. Practice has shown that the “Portfolio” technology should be considered as a possible and fairly effective tool for organizing and managing the educational process, with the help of which a clear and holistic picture is formed that reflects the system for assessing the quality of education (SOCO).

The etymology of the concept of “portfolio” has its own long history and versatility. It appeared in Western Europe in the 15th-16th centuries. Renaissance architects presented their finished works and sketches of their construction projects to customers in a special folder called “portfolio”. The documents presented in this folder gave an impression of the professional qualities of the applicant.

Nowadays, the term “portfolio” is often used in the financial system to denote the state of securities of enterprises or private owners. If we look at it more broadly, we can see that it generally has a designation of all the presented achievements of the company. For photographers and photo models, this term means an album with photographs, and in everyday life, a “portfolio” is represented as: a business card (a set of information about a person, a specific organization, institution); dossier (collection of documents, samples of work, photographs giving an idea of the offered opportunities and services); a portfolio of educational and professional achievements of a person.

Thus, the process of comprehending the semantic meaning of the term "portfolio" made it possible to see many different directions, interpretations and characteristics, but a generally accepted version of this concept has not yet been established.

However, we do not set ourselves the task of considering a portfolio in all spheres and areas of its application. The purpose of this article is to find out the depth and significance of the essential meaning of “portfolio” as a pedagogical technology. To do this, you need to understand: WHAT is “Portfolio”? WHY and WHY do you need to create a “Portfolio”? WHAT is the importance and significance of “Portfolio” as a technology that forms an integral system for assessing the quality of education in an educational institution? Along with this, it is also important to understand what the “Portfolio” technology is - the bank of achievements or the technology of forming the system of this bank?

The idea of creating and using an education portfolio originated in the mid-1980s in the United States of America. Further, after America and Canada, this idea is becoming more and more popular in Europe and Japan. Already at the beginning of the XXI century. the idea of a portfolio is gaining wide acceptance and real practical application in Russia. Not so long ago, in Russian education, it was customary to consider a portfolio as a product of a graduate's activity “at the exit” of a specific educational stage, as well as the degree of a teacher's readiness for professional activity presented in a “portfolio” (“specialist folder”).

As a result of delving into the essence of understanding the term “portfolio”, it was revealed that in translation from Italian the word portfolio means “specialist folder” or “document folder”. Modern Russian education interprets this term as “a folder of individual achievements of a student or teacher”. At the same time, “Portfolio” can also be considered as “training portfolio”, “work portfolio”, “portfolio of achievements”, “professional portfolio”, etc. This is due to various factors that determine the feasibility of its creation, namely: the purpose of forming the portfolio itself ; the age category of the performers of the participants, which has to create it; the type and type of educational institution that presents its product of subject and / or vocational education to society.

In the pedagogical literature, domestic scientists also present various approaches to the definition of this concept. According to the position of E.E. Fedotova, T.G. Novikova, A.S. Prutchenkov, the term “portfolio” is interpreted as a “training portfolio”, which defines a targeted collection of students' works that determine efforts and potential, development and areas according to the curriculum. Consequently, “portfolio” is a report or portfolio of achievements, with the help of which the individual achievements of a student are recorded, accumulated and evaluated in a certain period of his studies under certain conditions.

So, in our understanding, “Portfolio” is a document that represents an effective package of achievements for a number of years, which is considered and accepted by many of its creators in different guises, namely as a form, method, means and even technology, which significantly affects its structure, content component, the formation of separate thematic modules related to a specific profile and a specific professional-specific focus.

At present, in domestic and foreign education, the portfolio is one of the most frequently used types of results-oriented technologies. However, due to the need for an objective assessment of the real achievements of students in certain subject areas and their abilities for further specialized and professional education, this technology should be considered as a global and significant phenomenon, presented as a product of the interaction of intellectual and creative, obtained as a result of creative creative activity of the subject of education. ...

It is the technological approach that allows us to consider “Portfolio” as a pedagogical technology. The word "technology" comes from the Greek words techne - art, skill and logos - learning. As a result, the term "pedagogical technology" in literal translation means teaching about pedagogical art and skill.

Particular relevance in the technology "Portfolio", according to Smetannikova N.N., Polat E.S., Shalygina I.V. acquires a self-assessment of the student's own learning activity or the teacher's professional activity.

Dutko N.P. focuses on the professional qualities and achievements of the teacher's personality and suggests considering the portfolio as a technology for assessing the teacher's professional growth. She believes that this will solve the problem of objective assessment of the teacher's professional qualities and achievements. In her understanding, “a teacher's portfolio is an individual folder, which records his personal professional achievements in educational activities, the results of teaching, upbringing and development of his students, the teacher's contribution to the development of the Russian education system. Undoubtedly, such a portfolio provides the integration of quantitative and qualitative assessments, which make it possible to be a means of monitoring the teacher's professional growth, fully reflecting the level of his competence and competitiveness; a collection of didactic and methodological materials intended for a more perfect organization of the educational process ”.

This view confirms the idea that with the help of a portfolio as a pedagogical technology, it is quite effectively possible to track the formation of key competencies and competencies of a student and a teacher as a modern person of the XXI century. In our opinion, the following competencies were identified as the most significant and in demand:

    informational (the ability to search, analyze, transform, apply information to solve problems);

    communicative (ability to effectively cooperate with other people);

    self-organizing (the ability to set goals, plan, take a responsible attitude to health, make full use of personal resources);

    self-educational (willingness to design and implement their own educational trajectory throughout life, while ensuring success and competitiveness).

Meyer D. considers the technology "Portfolio" as a targeted product and a collection of students' work, demonstrating their efforts, progress, achievements in one or more subject areas of various orientations. According to the version he proposed, “Portfolio” technology is capable of having ample opportunities for realizing the creative abilities and cognitive interests of schoolchildren in specific conditions. The use of this technology makes it possible to stimulate students, orient them towards achieving high educational results, and maximize their cognitive and creative abilities.

Selevko G.K. notes that in the scientific understanding and use of the term "pedagogical technology" one can find great discrepancies, among which he distinguishes four positions:

    pedagogical technologies as a means, i.e. as the production and use of methodological tools, apparatus, educational equipment and TCO for the educational process;

    pedagogical technologies as a method that should be considered as a communication process (method, model, technique for performing educational tasks), based on a specific algorithm, program, system of interaction between participants in the pedagogical process;

    pedagogical technologies as a scientific direction, in which the pedagogical technology under consideration acts as an extensive field of knowledge, based on the data of social, managerial and natural sciences;

    pedagogical technologies as a multidimensional concept, representing a multidimensional approach and considered pedagogical (educational) technologies as a multidimensional process.

It is quite obvious that all the positions presented have a certain significance in each specific case. In this regard, in our opinion, it is advisable to consider the Portfolio technology adhering to the fourth position, since it is: "A system of functioning of all components of the pedagogical process, built on a scientific basis, programmed in time and space and leading to the intended results"(G.K.Selevko).

At the same time, building a step-by-step technological chain for presenting achievements in the “Portfolio”, we tend to consider it as a system of specific outstanding results of a student, a graduate of a student, a teacher, which were obtained in the aggregate of sequential actions of the relationship of these subjects in order to obtain education, development and formation the personality of each of them.

In this regard, it can be noted that this entire process has acquired a new technology, which should be understood as the organization of the pedagogical process as a set of actions leading to education and improvement of the relationships between the components of the pedagogical process, as well as the organization of the pedagogical process in accordance with a specific theoretical paradigm (Stefanovskaya T.A.).

The question arises: what is this integral system and how to create it correctly? The crux of the matter is that any technology and technology "Portfolio" is also characterized by the presence and interconnection of the leading components (target, content, organizational, expert-evaluative), which form an integral system. Consequently, it must be considered comprehensively in close relationship with each of these components. At the same time, it is important to take into account the type, type, goal and result of the future portfolio, since the ratio of goal and result can state the real picture in a holistic system for assessing the quality of education of a student, teacher, as well as the entire educational institution.

Some practical experience shows that today there are many views and approaches to creating a portfolio as a leading indicator and main assessment of the education quality system. In this regard, in order to expand the range of possibilities for the effective use of the Portfolio technology, experienced teachers willingly give recommendations not only on its content, but also on the design structure, presentation of protection, etc.

Our own practical experience also allows us to make several, in our opinion, the most important recommendations and guidelines for successful work with a portfolio.

So, one of the important points of successful work on creating a portfolio is the development of an individual program of the compiler's activities with specific stages and a schedule for its implementation. In terms of objectives, it can be strategic and / or tactical; temporarily - short-term and long-term, etc.

Portfolios can be classified in the following areas:

    by leading subjects of education: portfolio of a student, teacher, family;

    by type of activity of each subject: portfolio of a student with a specific profile; a portfolio of a subject teacher with a specific subject focus; class teacher portfolio;

    portfolio of an additional education teacher; portfolio of the teacher-organizer; portfolio of social educator; portfolio for working with gifted children, etc.

    by type (Selevko G.K.), depending on the purposes of creation: folder of achievements; reflective portfolio; thematic portfolio;

    combined options corresponding to the goal: problem-research; portfolio anthology; presentation.

The presented classification of the portfolio allows us to conclude that the options for its use can be very different and wide in purpose. First of all, this is: a tool for discussing the learning outcomes and personal development of schoolchildren among classmates, parents, teachers; preparation and justification of goal-setting for the future profile chosen by the student; a document, an individual student's card, which reflects his development, the system of relations and the results of self-expression; wide opportunity for students to choose a topic for their portfolio (thematic portfolio); an indicator of one's own changes, presented in various forms of reflective analysis; comparative characteristics of establishing a connection between previous and new knowledge.

Of course, all of the above indicators are manifested in a specific activity, the result of which is a specific product. In this regard, the portfolio must necessarily include the products of the activities of the subjects of the educational process in accordance with the chosen classification, which can be subdivided into educational and professional.

Usually, educational In a general sense, the portfolio represents not only the form, but also the process of organizing samples and products of the educational and cognitive activity of the student, which is necessary for a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative assessment of the level of training of a particular student and further correction of the learning process as a whole.

When forming a portfolio, it is important to take into account age characteristics, so that, noting success in the educational, creative, sports and social activities of a student, present them brightly, clearly and understandably for each student, especially an elementary school student. Systematic work with the portfolio will help teachers and parents, together with the student, solve important tasks of the following nature: timely celebrate the student's progress; diagnose and monitor the individual growth of student success; to maintain the student's interest in receiving quality education and mastering, in full measure, universal educational actions (UUD); to form the student's self-esteem in the process of educational and extracurricular activities; contribute to the formation of the ability to achieve solutions to the assigned tasks.

In this case, the portfolio is used as a method of independent rating assessment of the results achieved by students in specific subject areas and other areas of educational, extracurricular and extracurricular activities, indicating that schoolchildren have certain abilities to continue their education in profiles.

When forming professional portfolio it should be borne in mind that one of the main tasks of modern education is to improve its quality within the framework of the implementation of new generation standards, as well as the readiness of students to take a conscious approach and collect materials for further design of their portfolio in the framework of future professional activities. Of course, this will become the basis for determining the educational rating of a graduate of a basic school and the competitiveness of a future specialist in secondary and higher professional education, including a teacher.

Consider the approximate products of the activity of a student and a teacher.

AT educational portfolios various categories and names of products of educational and cognitive activities can be included, namely: student work (class independent and homework); original solutions or the implementation of complex entertaining educational tasks on a specific topic (at the student's choice); performing tasks on your own in addition to the curriculum; abstracts of various orientations and complexity; visual aids made on a specific topic; short essays or summaries of books read on the topic given by the teacher; student's personal growth diary; assignments for classmates, compiled by the student himself on a specific topic; photographs presented by line of business; a description of the mini experiments and laboratory work carried out; audio and video materials with student speeches; works with integrative ties with related disciplines; diplomas, incentives, awards, letters of thanks for specific subjects.

AT professional portfolios categories and names of products of pedagogical activity can be included, namely: individual and creative work of a teacher; heuristic tasks for classroom and home independent work of students; methodological recommendations for solving (performing) complex entertaining tasks on a specific topic offered to students; selection and development of tasks for independent work of students in addition to the curriculum; approximate topics of abstract works in various directions and complexity; developed digital educational resources (CER) on a specific topic; diary of personal professional growth of a teacher; photographs presented by areas of activity; a description of the mini experiments and laboratory work carried out with students; audio and video materials with the teacher's speeches at various levels; diplomas, incentives, awards, letters of thanks for specific subjects; monitoring the assessment of the quality of education in a specific academic discipline; a package of diagnostic procedures for tracking the results of the personal growth of the student and the teacher himself.

The whole variety of portfolio types is determined by the purpose of its use. So, after defining the goal, the issues of the main and specific components of the portfolio, the process of its assessment, external design and discussion are solved. An educator using this technology can create a portfolio of a subject teacher, portfolio methodologist, portfolio researcher, portfolio class teacher, etc.

The introduction of the “Portfolio” technology in an educational institution requires a lot and systematic work to improve the qualifications and professional growth of the teacher's personality, his competence in educational matters. The need for its implementation is obvious, since it requires teachers to be ready to understand and accept this technology as another innovation, with the help of which there will be an opportunity for the early formation of universal educational actions in students.

Along with this, it should be noted the importance of the existing structure, content and form of the portfolio as a pedagogical technology, which is necessarily inherent in specific theoretical positions and approaches that underlie the educational and professional activities of each specific subject. To substantiate these provisions, it is necessary to consider in sufficient detail the above-mentioned leading structural components (target, meaningful, organizational, expert-evaluative) that form this technology.

In this regard, it is important to structure the collected bank of necessary materials for a portfolio in a competent and logical manner, and at the same time remember that a portfolio is not just a bank of achievements. In this case, the technology of forming the system of this bank (logical, substantial, expedient) is of value. It is clear that with all the variety of portfolio options, its structure should remain varied, easy to perceive and understand the achievements of a subject of any age, and consist of several essential sections. In our opinion, the mandatory sections should be those who already have official certified documents (“Portfolio of documents”), coursework of the teacher, elective courses and creative works of the student and teacher (“Portfolio of works”), as well as reviews, recommendations, introspection.

As recommendations and clarifications, it should be noted that the subsection “Elective courses” can be presented in the form of a record book, which indicates the courses taken with an assessment and the form of credit events: “credit”, “abstract”, “research project”, points.

When forming the subsection “Creative works” it is necessary to give a list and an annotated description of works in various activities, it is advisable to attach reviews, if any. As the results of activities, various projects, scientific research, abstracts, reports, articles, various kinds of inventions, works on art, etc. can be presented.

As an example, confirming the quality of a teacher's education, we can offer the following, rather effective types of professional portfolios of a teacher used by us in the process of pedagogical activity: demonstrating their own achievements, developing personal and professional qualities, reporting on the generalization of advanced pedagogical experience, electronic as a holistic system for assessing the quality of education in a virtual teaching environment.

The result of a portfolio presentation is usually a final grade. It is determined by the sum of points for all the sections presented. In the practice of assessing the portfolio as a product of graduates' activities, there is a fairly large experience presented at all levels of education (school, vocational school, university, etc.). This is an indicator of successful achievements of a graduate in the process of a specific time period, recording and accumulation of individual achievements of his own progress. This approach allows us to speak about some already established system, which should have successive connections at all levels of education.

In this regard, it should be noted that it is quite important and advisable to start working with a portfolio at school. It is there that the student's first experience of creating his own “masterpiece of success” begins to form as part of the graduate's personal development trajectory and the future career of a novice specialist. Presenting his results to them with the help of a portfolio allows him to analyze not only the process, but also the result of specific educational activities carried out in specific time frames, to assess the degree of formation of his personal qualities. At the same time, it is clear that each stage should have its own tasks that maximize the quality of education as a whole, and therefore the product - a competitive specialist.

Currently, cardinal changes are making significant adjustments to the labor market in relation to a person to his professional and qualification characteristics and putting forward more and more stringent requirements for the product of his professional work. In this regard, the main moral and psychological qualities of an employee are initiative, independence, creativity, the ability to cooperate and interact with other subjects of society, high motivation for career growth, advanced training and professional retraining. It is these qualities that allow a person to be mobile and competitive in the labor market, and the Portfolio technology as an effective tool and leading indicator of the education quality assessment system allows you to visually present a holistic picture of the degree of personality formation as a successful, competent and business PERSON.

Include content in your portfolio. Portfolios are large collections of completed works that prove your qualifications. Accordingly, with the help of the table of contents, it will be easier for a potential employer or employer to navigate in your portfolio and immediately find what they are interested in.

  • You should start working on the table of contents only when everything else is ready. However, place the table of contents at the beginning.
  • If you number the pages of a portfolio, then the content of the page numbers should not be - and vice versa.
  • Include a regular resume in your portfolio. This will come in handy if someone asks you for a resume, not a portfolio. In addition, a 1-2 page resume included in the portfolio will act as a preface to what comes next.

    • Enter your contact information at the top of the page: email, phone number and postal address (the latter is optional).
    • Write about the goal you are pursuing when applying for a job.
    • Write about your education.
    • Write about your work experience.
  • Tell us more about your skills and experience. List the skills required for this job. Make these skills headings, under which you provide a brief description of how you can meet the requirements.

    • List any past positions where the skill was required and briefly explain exactly how it was required.
    • List all character traits associated with the skill and give specific examples.
    • Also list what you have learned, formally and informally.
  • Include samples of work in your portfolio. Here for yourself, see where you are going and what is required there.

    • Are you planning to work with graphics? Include your photos, drawings, etc. in your portfolio.
    • Are you planning to work with text? Accordingly, include excerpts from your work in your portfolio.
    • Samples of work can be collected in a portfolio in printed form, on disks and other suitable media.
    • References can be obtained from clients, employers, colleagues, professors, or critics.
    • Recommendations of employers, especially if they are very laudatory, should also be included.
  • List all your prizes, diplomas and awards. All documents of this kind related to your work area should be listed on your resume.

    • Leave the originals at home, but attach the scans.
    • If you were not given certificates in your hands - well, get by with text. Write the title of the award and what it was awarded for.
  • List all the conferences you attended. More precisely, all conferences related to your workspace. The list of conferences should be on a separate page. Write the name of the event, where it took place and by whom it was organized.

    • Highlight those conferences where you gave a presentation.
    • Even those conferences where you went by mistake or to escape the rain, also list.
  • List your academic degrees and titles. This will make your candidacy more significant in the eyes of the employer.

    • Degrees, titles, licenses and so on - everything must be indicated.
    • It is also advisable to include a diploma supplement in the portfolio.
  • Content

    They say that modesty adorns a person, but who knows better about your professional capabilities and the unique skills that you possess? To be in demand in the modern world, you need to be able to qualitatively and effectively tell others about yourself or your organization. To successfully solve such a problem, read the detailed information on how to arrange a portfolio, what types of such a dossier are, what are the rules for filling it out. After reviewing examples of the design of such works, you can choose the template you want and make an excellent presentation of your achievements.

    What is portfolio

    A systematic collection of the completed work of a particular person or organization is called a portfolio. Typically, such a dossier is executed in the form of a folder and / or an electronic file. After reviewing the content, one can see what achievements a person has, and add up an idea of what services can be performed by the presenter of this document and at what level. The availability of information about a person's professional capabilities is associated with people of creative professions - designers, artists, freelancers.

    Today, due to the obvious convenience of structuring data, people of different professions - doctors, teachers, educators - have begun to use such books. Often, an abbreviated version of the list of results of a person can be displayed in the resume, in fact, being a detailed column "Achievements". For a student who, after graduation, does not have professional experience, but has indicated success during training seminars or internships, the chances of employment are much higher. A beautifully, logically designed analysis of completed tasks will be useful even for a student.

    School portfolio

    School is a place where two worlds seem to meet: a knowledgeable teacher, who has a knowledge base, and an inquisitive child's mind, which began its learning path. But for teachers and students alike, folders will be very useful, which will display their progress. Each school has developed certain templates, lists of recommendations explaining how to draw up a folder of achievements for a student, which sections should be included here. Further, you can familiarize yourself with the features of compilation and see examples of a finished portfolio of a teacher, first grader, high school student or an entire class.

    Teacher

    Such a folder should speak about the success of the teacher, about the improvement of his qualifications, testify to his active participation not only in the educational process, but also in extracurricular activities at school. It is worth forming such a dossier not only for positive certification, but also for objective self-analysis and planning specific actions aimed at improving professional skills.

    Consider an example showing the main sections of the document.

    • General information - personal data, education, work experience, professional development, awards, certificates.
    • The portfolio of achievements in pedagogical activity - the results of mastering the program by students, participation in Olympiads, medalists.
    • Scientific and methodological activity - participation in professional competitions, development of copyright programs, scientific work, publication of articles.
    • Extracurricular activities - scenarios of events, work in circles.
    • Educational and material base.

    Class

    Such a dossier is the result of joint creative activity of the teacher and students. It is worth starting with a general photo of the class, a list of children with contact information, the duties they perform at school. Next, draw up separate sheets for each student indicating his personal information, information about the family, indicate academic achievements, whether he is engaged in circles.

    Check out the class portfolio example. It should include the following sections.

    • work and leisure plans for students;
    • special educational achievements (participation in Olympiads);
    • sports achievements;
    • creative successes (what hobbies do students have, participation in exhibitions, etc.);
    • social activities (for example, subbotniks);
    • joint entertainment (information with photos).

    Primary school student

    A child from elementary grades cannot cope with the creation of a business card on his own. Parents need help, but not do everything themselves, because even a first grader will be able to remember the first successes in school. The portfolio of a child in grade 1 looks colorful. Such an individual folder must be arranged in a clearly structured, strict and concise manner.

    Consider an example of designing a portfolio with the best practices of a high school student. Remember that the goal is to objectively represent the work you have done, for this it is worth including the sections here:

    • My portrait is an autobiography.
    • Achievements - copies of certificates, certificates, diplomas, certified by the school administration.
    • Elective courses - preferred subjects, elective courses taken, for example, a foreign language.

At the same time, the baby learns to track the development of his skills. The following are examples of designing a portfolio for a kindergarten.

    • established daily routine;
    • group travel - photos of the interior of the room, illustrated with drawings and stories of children;
    • creative exhibitions of children;
    • photo reports about the events held;
    • group successes;
    • parent feedback page.

    Preschooler

    A portfolio is a good tool for tracking the dynamics of a child's development, but for preschool toddlers it should also be an interesting creative activity that captures the skills and abilities of the toddler. The data is collected by the educator and the parent, but the child is explained why it is important for him to fill out these pages on his own. In the future, viewing the pages is possible only with the consent of the preschooler.

    • about the child's personality and environment - family, friends, hometown;
    • daily regime;
    • what games he likes to play, what he likes to do;
    • what dreams the child has, what he would like to achieve;

A well-designed portfolio will help you find your first job, and for some professions, for example, for an architect, without such a collection of works, employment in a specialty is virtually impossible.

    How to correctly draw up this dossier for a student? In a business style, it is better in the form of letterheads. The student must indicate:

    • on the title page - your personal data, the name of the educational institution;
    • what coursework, research work was carried out;

    You can make several portfolios, for example, in one to place multidirectional works in order to increase the number of clients, and in the other to collect tasks that are interesting to a specific customer with whom I would like to cooperate on an ongoing basis. Select only the best projects for general review, you can even include works that were not accepted by the customer, but in which you are sure that they make sense and they characterize you as a unique specialist.

It is recommended to structure the developments in the following sections:

    • student work;
    • professional projects done at work;
    • personal projects that characterize your vision of objects.

    The architect should speak graphics, images, and not words, so include the minimum text in the portfolio structure, using it only for the necessary explanations. Include hand-drawn sketches to highlight your personality. Models

    The ready-made beech of the model is her business card and a prerequisite; negotiations about her participation in projects, shows or filming begin with it. Such a dossier is not formed in one shot, it consists of a set of photographs that are best ordered from professional photographers. Pictures should reflect the girl's dignity, her ability to transform. Male model beech is less common.

    Such a well-made dossier includes:

    • minimalist photos to assess the external data of a girl (such pictures are taken against a neutral background, portrait and full-length in underwear or a swimsuit);
    • portrait with an unusual hairstyle, makeup;
    • shots showing how the model can pose, with an emphasis on advantageous body angles;

The artist's collection can be very different, because each of the representatives of this professional sphere has his own vision, and customers also require the creation of a wide variety of images. The best option would be a portfolio, which is easy to change based on your audience. As a general scheme, you can use such an approximate plan of the artist's dossier, which indicates:

    • what creative concept the compiler adheres to;
    • samples of the work performed.

    Portfolio Tips

    In connection with the accelerated development of modern society and the long-standing transition of Russian education to a new level - the level of compliance with European educational standards and a complete reorientation to the humanistic orientation of education, numerous reforms of schooling have become a necessary necessity. One of these reforms was the introduction of innovative technologies into the secondary and higher levels of education in our country.

    The main thing in these technologies is person-centered learning, and one of the auxiliary technologies is its psychological and pedagogical support. As you know, it includes a portfolio system - now it is a constant of the educational process of every self-respecting student, so that at the end of school all information about his personality, educational activities and achievements will be collected in one folder.

    A student's portfolio is a kind of student's dossier, which he himself maintains.

    Now it is known to almost everyone. But there is only one main question: how to properly arrange a student's portfolio? Since there is no absolute template and standard in its design, everyone is free to find their own way of organizing materials in this personal document. However, there are some rules regarding how to design a portfolio and the main sections that are required in it.

    How to draw up a portfolio of a primary school student?

    • Of course, as with all documents, the portfolio contains a title page. And there is nothing difficult in how to arrange the title page of a portfolio. The student must include his / her first name, last name, age, school name and some other contact information. And, of course, do not forget to paste / paste (depending on how you make) your photo. You can also write a short message about your school, your favorite teachers and subjects.
    • Further, the student, already on the next sheet, as a rule, even the third in a row, writes about himself - an autobiography, as a small essay - reasoning. After that, various diplomas, awards for achievements in studies and social activities, olympiads and other distinctions received during the training and maintenance of this document are placed.

    • Then, after the "achievements" section, there is a section of creativity, where you need to indicate the child's hobbies, sections or circles that he attends. All creative work, applications, drawings, poems or prose (if the child writes) and so on must be invested there. In addition, you can prepare questionnaires for his classmates, where the children will write reviews about each other.
    • And the perfect end to the portfolio will be a section on the reviews and recommendations of the class teacher in relation to the student. This will complement the general information about the personality of the child and, possibly, help him in further development.

    As you can see, in general, there are no particular difficulties with how to write a portfolio of an elementary school student. This is an easy form of this document, since it is designed for a younger student. But the portfolio for a high school student will already be much larger and a little more complicated in design, although the components are almost the same.

    What does a high school student's portfolio look like?

    • As in the previous version of this document, a portfolio for a high school student should have a title page with a first name, last name and contact information (phone, e-mail, home address). Added to everything else is a column about the purpose of the portfolio. The child must himself realize the importance of this issue and, in his opinion, formulate the purpose of the compilation.
    • Then there is a section on the plans and interests of the child, where he himself predicts how and in which direction he will develop, what he will achieve in five to ten to fifteen years, and thinks over the means to achieve these goals, that is, what he should do for this. In fact, this is a section: "Who would I like to see myself, and what should I do to become such?" Here the whole emphasis is on analyticity, which is not in the portfolio of a younger student, since reflection is inherent to a greater extent in the rapidly developing personality of a teenager.
    • The next section provides for the autobiography of the student, which is already much less like a "small essay", as in a younger student. Now, almost all texts written for a portfolio about yourself should be as common as possible, with the same emphasis on analyticity. He must write about all the years of study: preschool life, school and up to the present moment.
    • Then there will be a section of their own achievements with the attachment of official documents: diplomas, certificates and gratitude - as well as their copies for participation in olympiads, competitions, sports competitions, etc.
    • After that, there is a section with documents, certificates and diplomas on completion of various additional courses that expand the existing subject knowledge or develop in any other necessary field (creative, scientific, technical).
    • The next section will be the section of creative works: poetry, prose, fine art, another kind of art in any convenient form, design work. The meaning of this section, as in a similar block of the portfolio of an elementary school student, is preserved, expanded and supplemented only by the base itself.
    • The document ends again with a section of reviews and recommendations from the teaching staff, where again there is a comprehensive analysis of the personality, and recommendations are made taking into account the psychological qualities and orientation of the personality. Everything is the same as for an elementary school child, but in a more formal form and in a more common format.

    Here, however, are all the tips on the topic: "How to properly arrange a student's portfolio." You know the main sections and their necessary content, but how to arrange it on paper and, then, in a folder when compiling - the decision is individual for everyone. You can do it manually, or you can, to save time, compose it in a graphical editor, of which there are enough nowadays. Further - it's up to you. And remember: the road will be mastered by the walking!
