If there is not enough oleletanolamide in the body, then a person is not able to control appetite and the amount of food eaten. But olive oil contributes to the production of this essential substance for health, acting as a catalyst for the process when it enters the intestine and when interacting with its mucous membrane.

However, even realizing the importance of olive oil, one should not forget that the maximum benefit can only be with the correct use of this product.

It should be remembered that for effective weight loss first you need to cleanse the body of toxins. For this, olive oil should be taken in the morning before meals, that is, on an empty stomach. You should start taking olive oil to cleanse the body with one teaspoon, then bring the amount to one dessert spoon and, finally, to one tablespoon. This is the so-called technology of cold pressing of olive oil, in which the temperature of the processing equipment and the product should not exceed 28 ° C.

It should be noted that high-quality olive oil can only be obtained by cold pressing, since with more high temperature olive oil loses many of its most valuable qualities.

In addition to the premium olive oil labeled ExtraVirgine, other oils are also marketed.

Oil labeled virgin has an acidity of more than 0.5% and is considered second grade oil.

Also on sale you can find olive oil of the third grade labeled fine (oliva) and oil of the fourth grade, which is labeled justoliveoil, that is, refined olive oil.

For healthy eating and even more so for a diet, refined oil is completely unsuitable, since in the process of refining, that is, purification, it has lost all valuable biologically active compounds and substances, but it has acquired some substances that are not provided by nature. Refined olive oil contains a large amount of heavy fractions that do not even allow the oil to deteriorate, regardless of storage conditions.

As for the olive oil producers, traditionally the Mediterranean countries - Greece, Spain and Italy - are leading in this industry. It is no secret that a lot of olive oil is produced in Spain, but no more than 20% of ExtraVirgine is produced there. But in Greece, almost all olive oil is produced by ExtraVirgine varieties (about 90%), and the prices for quality oil there are far from exorbitant.
